So what did Singletary do this time? I flip the channel to see one of his players screaming at him on the sidelines.

After throwing an interception to Oshiomogho Atogwe, Troy Smith came back to the bench and got into a screaming match with head coach Mike Singletary. We don’t know what was said, obviously, but we do hope it had something to do with the fact that Atogwe is going to become Singletary’s son-in-law on May 21st. If you’re Singletary, you don’t really want that hanging over your head along with the bill for the nuptials. At one point, Ted Ginn Jr. got between them and seemed to be trying to give the quarterback some space.

I can't believe the Lions win another meaningless game with a back-up at QB.
If it was Stafford in there getting good reps and learning how to win I could understand but eking out wins with Stanton and Hill is only risking putting this franchise even further behind in development by missing out on getting exactly what they need in the draft.
They are lucky that other bottom feeders are winning as well but if the Lions miss out on Peterson or Amukamara because of these meaningless wins it will be another stupid move in a long line of stupid moves by this franchise.
Can't believe that after all those years of losing these guys decide now they will attempt to win.

With Chiefs win earlier this afternoon and the Chargers losing to the lowly Bungals. Chiefs clinch the division about time they paid for it with their slow starts.

I'd be mad too if I wasted my first round pick on Best when the best back out of this years draft class went undrafted and could have been had for nothing.
Also he's been kicked off 0 teams, and Tampa could very easily still make the playoffs.

Wasted?
Best has looked a lot better than Blount so far this year and fits in with the offense as well.
No need for a one-dimensional fat back when you can get a guy who actually can help the team.
Oh thats right after throwing another cheap shot punch Tennessee just put him on waivers didn't kick him off the team. They "really" wanted him after showing again what a piece of crap he is.

Huge win for the Packers, obviously, and it could have been a lot worse score wise than it was. Rodgers looks just fine after the concussion. Beat the Bears at Lambeau next week and they are in...and likely to face the Bears again the following week.
By my count the Giants have given up 73 points in their last 68 minutes of football....yikes.
The Chargers just cost Turner his job Im guessing.

Not sure what you mean here. They had postponed the game on Sunday because of danger in travelling, to the fans etc....and they played in Detroit the following night. They played at the University the following week.
And it was the right call to postpone todays game as well...it was just far to dangerous for everyone to travel as Philly is expecting up to 20" of snow and there is an emergency declared.

DIE CHARGERS!!!!
Chiefs make the playoffs, whooohooo! I thought the Chiefs might surprise and win 9 games with their easy schedule this year. Didn't expect them to be 10-5 and have the Division won. Realisitically the better team is out of the playoffs, but the Chargers deserve this with their dumb mistakes, and pretty much just being dumb from management to coaches all year long. So HA HA Stupid Chargers! I've waited 4 years to say it.
Looks like the Chiefs will host the Jets at Arrowhead in week 1 of the playoffs, so hopefully they finally snap their playoff losing streak that goes back to Joe Montana.

the way the Jets defense looked today, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Chiefs win that thing either. They were shredded by Cutler...and we all know about him.

The city is paralyzed as it is, they couldnt clear roads etc. Hard to gather 70,000 people in a place when its hard to get there, nevermind the problems that many people on the roads would cause for emergency services. Not sure what you're suggesting?

Philly should win big over Vikings on Tuesday. Now what about Saints and Falcons?

Well, Tim Tebow probably didn't silence many critics today, but he probably won the hearts of an entire city.
It was nice, as a Broncos fan, to see the team take on the personality of its QB when facing adversity.
Not that it is something new, they've been doing it all year. The difference being the QB.
Orton's been great almost the entire time he's been in Denver, but he's not a winner. He's not a leader. He's not a guy that can bring your team back from a 17 point deficit.
Tebow, evidently, is.

They made the Vikes fly in the same storm that brought the roof down on the metrodome. But now they cant play in the snow? Lets just put everyone on a plane and fly them to detroit in the same storm that paralyzed the twin cities....

No they didnt. They flew out the next day when the styorm had passed...Philly is getting battered right now as the game would be going on. At the time they postponed it this morning, it was expected there would be 18+" of snow in the parking lots and on the streets. Nevermind hoping to get some 3,000 workers to and from the game as well, good luck having 70,000 all trying to navigate those hazards safely. And the Philly airport is basically closed.
Im not sure what other motivation the league would have to lose a Sunday night audience other than for safety reasons.
