He will need to address the running game as well. IMO that team needs a lot of work and needs a few very solid drafts and patience as it's not going to turn around overnight.

It's the NFL, anything can turn over night.

There are more AFC West fans on this board than anything. I love the Jets hatred on this board. If only the Pats had lost I could have had the Jets beating Pitt, Fins losing to Bills and Pats loss all in the same day. The playoffs are going to be interesting in both conferences. It will be interesting to see who will have the hot hand going into the playoffs as those are the teams who will make a run.

While there is usually a worst to first team in the league generally the same group of teams take turns making the playoffs every year with the odd up and coming team making it. A lot of the bad teams stay down for a long time.

That's not a this board thing, that's a Jets thing. They're far and away the most hated team in the league under Ryan.

I hope you're right. Really need Oakland to beat them and the Chargers to win out (they have two very winnable games against Cinncy and Denver). However, I gotta give credit to the Chiefs, they've played well this year, and if they win both their games they deserve to represent the AFC West. They've played consistent all year, which I can't say the Chargers did in the first six weeks of the season. Needless to say they are an up and coming teams, along with Oakland in the division

The Pats had no book on Flynn at all. They were not good against the run, and took way more penalties than normal.

And yet in a league wide poll Ryan came up as coach most wanted to play under.

And that's relevant how exactly? Who players like isn't at all involved in who the fans of the league hate.

The Pats D is not that good this year. I'm not sure what the exact number was but over the first 11 games they were giving up 24ish points/game.

I just think its funny that the fans of other teams hate him, but the players they root for want to play for him. Shows players appreciate his bravado and willingness to stick his neck out, whereas fans get their panties in a bunch over it. And I actually find in the non-board world that about 50% of fans of other teams like him and 50% hate him.

I don't hate the Jets because of Ryan. In fact I like Rex Ryan. I just can't stand how overhyped the two New York teams are.

Yes, I think they are ahead of schedule. Better than they should be. Getting better quickly, and should be very good in 2-3 years.

I would not want to see Manning in the playoffs.

I was wrapping Christmas gifts last night when that happened. The worst part was I was doing a dining set and jumped up and broke it.

Good news is that it was 1) for the in-laws 2) I didn't pay for it.

Other than breaking the gift I laughed so hard.

Now that we are out of the playoffs I really hope we lose Sunday to the Lions at home. That would make us 1-7 at home this year. Talk about horrible. But the good news about that is, it would hopefully make our owner fire our bonehead coach and bring in Cowher. Cowher has the tools to make this team great. He will find himself a qb and a running game. He'd allready have a top 5 defence to work with.

I hope you kill the Lions on Sunday. We need to make sure we get Patterson and if not then at least get the guy from Nebraska. The way the Lions are playing now they could miss out on both after being virtually assured of having their choice.

If the Lions win another game this season I think it is time to consider firing Jim Schwartz as head coach. He had a cake walk to a top 3 pick with Drew Stanton as QB and instead he is trying to make sure the team gets a mediocre player instead.
