New DLC for this week is:
"Call Me" by Blondie
"Message In A Bottle" by The Police
"Simple Man" by Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Just ordered those omega pedals, should come in a week. I'm hoping this will help me get through the double taps on expert...the original pedal is just not "springy" enough for me.

I'd definitely get Simple Man, but I don't have LIVE right now.

odd there's no mention of Nirvana's "Nevermind".
Taken from Kotaku:

in May, The Cars' self-titled record will become the second full-album release from Rock Band. The Pixies' Doolittle will follow in June.

Yeah that's kind of disappointing. I was really looking forward to putting on my cardigan and ripped jeans.

I'm alright with Run to the Hills with the 16th Notes (only the intro part, the main verse section is ridiculously tough...check this guys out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7Bk8kb7Pow), I'm actually having a tougher time with the 16th notes on Foreplay/Long Time. There's a small gap between each pair of 16ths and I get killed.
If it seems really off then try calibrating your TV.

Picked up the Nyko Frontman guitar for PS3 and like it. Only have a couple of hours jamming on it but it seemed fine. Doesn't have the solo buttons but is a good option for those needing a second guitar.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I found out it was actually a problem with the drums. Here's what I did to fix it (well, sort of) for everyone else who also has this problem: lay a sock on each drum pad, then put two or three elastics around each drum pad over top of the socks. Then the game has a much better chance of actually picking up what you're playing properly. The elastics do the work because they prevent the top of the drum pads from vibrating.
Can't remember where I found that on the internet. Well, it made a huge difference. I've heard it's only a problem with some of the drum sets.

Hard or expert? In my opinion, the:

rhythm in Run to the Hills is actually harder on hard than Expert (straight 16ths). If you're playing it right but can't seem to pass it, it's because the drum pads suck massive wang. Do the elastic thing. I just about threw my drumsticks at the TV it pissed me off so much until I found that out.

I know a few people from CP ordered the drum pads from this site:
http://www.bryanmentock.com/Bryan%20...ck%20Band.html
Has anyone actually received them? Mine were supposed to ship nearly a month ago, but nothing so far. USPS only has my "shipping info", nothing has actually shipped yet. I finally emailed the site the other day, hopefully they can sort this out rather quickly.
Just wondering if anyone else has had similar problems.

I order mine in early March. They shipped in earlier April. I got them about 1.5-2 weeks after they shipped.
Totally worth the wait/cost. They're significantly quieter than the regular pads and are much better to play with.

I read that the PS3 Store has Canadian and US prices matched now.
Hopefully this applies to the Rock Band DLC because it's annoying to pay more per song when the dollars are essentially equal.

Yes it finally does! I'm pretty sure the change is for everything in the store, so I see no reason why rock band stuff won't be price adjusted as well.
