Another reason to let treliving go be a host at one of his dads Boston pizzas. He can trade customers from the lounge to the restaurant with no pressure now.

Maybe he isn't on the Flames, the guy did however show he can produce at a high level the last 4 years. You think the answer to try and get him going is give him less ice time and publicly take pot shots at him through the media? Huberdeau may be on a deep dive and never recover but as the coach you have to find different ways to get him going, that's your damn job. The guy clearly has NO confidence.

Meant it more that while there’s undoubtedly problems between coach and GM, I don’t think Sutter is actively trying to tank the team as a power play against the GM or anything. I just think he’s generally incompetent as a head coach in the league now.

Sure he produced at a high level over the years. But the pro scouts should have told their boss how he got those points. Did he get them vs easy match ups or was he a play driver? All the high lights I saw were a good pass or a lucky pass. Nothing that would work in the play offs. Then where is the Florida playoff success? There was none and they were happy to ship him and his years of production for a chance to land a young stud. Our young stud.
