Thank Xenu for this Jagr interview. Might be the most interesting and entertaining part of the game.

They can afford to cut bait with Brodie, I hope the team explores options for a quality RW.

He looks out of sorts. Tentative and not comfortable at all

Try shipping him to the right side first!

These guys shouldn't need to be motivated.
They need to take accountability for their own poor play instead of being handed excuses
Easy to blame the coach instead of the fan favorites

I agree with the sentiment, but more with regards to people slagging on the blue line quality. The slow start out of the gate is absolutely a coaching issue. As I mentioned I'm watching the other CBC game on a split screen and the difference in energy and "we want to win our home opener" feel between the Flames and the Canucks is somewhat cringe-worthy. As a unit, the Flames look like this is a game in mid-December. Though the errors are, I think, making things look worse than they really are.

It's easier to blame the coach then to let the truly dark thoughts sink in.
Not that I'm a huge Gulatzan fan, but there are real problems with this team.

Right, because he certainly didn't call the team out after that Habs game last year and then sit them down on a train and motivate them into being one of the best teams from that point on. Nope, that didn't happen.

That looks like a good team right there.

Only player looking hungry is Tkachuk, Monahan is floating and Johnny has no magic. Very worrying, defense has just been brutal. Where's Dougie as well?

Jagr dropping wisdom. The team needs to calm down and execute. Easy for me to criticize them but it's frustrating to watch clunky hockey.

So glad Jagr is a Flame. It's gonna be a treat to watch the guy, especially if this does turn out to be his last year.

Save some for Bob Hartley. I hear he loves ice cream cake to go with his Jack Adams trophy while watching this game.
