Really like Andersson's game. He's gonna be ready soon I think, so hopefully Gulutzan can make an exception on his RHD only playing on the right side, otherwise Andersson will have to wait for a trade or Stone to be horrible, which is not ideal.

A lot better than Smith did. He only allowed one goal and it was after a bad giveaway from Gio gave the Oiler a free path to the net.

He's looked good during all his NHL minutes imo.

Body control of a prototypically smaller goalie.

Gillies needed to make his case, with Rittich and Parsons in the mix.

I know full well his name is "Shilington" but in my brain, just to myself I still say "Killington"

Shot was deflected off a defender a foot in-front of the net and shot up into the heavens...as it soared, it became clear to our new goalie overlord that it was dropping behind him and into the net - then, just as the darkest hour drew near, our saviour, #32 miraculously reached behind his back and caught it with the glove of destiny, saving the day and all of us in the process.

...or something.

The thing that makes that Gillies save arguably even better than the classic Kari Lehtonen version (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNpb_jFK-tw) is the push off he does with his left skate just before he snags it. That's just incredible.

Not really

Think first few pre season games it's just so random

This squad got crushed by Vegas the other day, most of the vets are in china
