Wait, the Archer "stop I can only get so erect" gif isn't allowed? Seen it here dozens of times, it's the medical term.

Come on guys, allow this forum to have a modicum of fun.

Just you. He’s been very strong. He’s faced a number of high quality shots and also some very weird bounces.

1st goal was just an awful bounce and the 2nd was Boeser destroying our D and taking a high quality shot that flat out beat Gillies (Boeser is good).

To those criticizing Kulak, you only need to look at the guy on the other side of his pairing

It is impossible to look good playing with Bartkowski. Erik Karlsson would look like and AHLer carrying him around.

Kulak has not been that good today but I don't think anyone could be in his position.

Following on radio. Can someone describe the Gillies save? Loubo is saying it's one of the best he's ever seen.

EDIT: Nevermind. Saw the sureloss post.

So, I'm actually surprised at how this Canucks squad isn't total and complete hot garbage. I mean, they're bad, and this isn't exactly the Flames' A-squad, but they're not getting run out of the building. Wonder if a bunch of them are familiar with each other from the AHL or something.

I'm at 3 for kulak bad giveaways. He's been really solid, yet unspectacular otherwise. It's just too much for me, he should be taking this opportunity and running with it. I really hope he cleans it up because he plays such a simple calming game, but he needs to stop with the errors.

I like Gillies. Will be an NHLer next year, I bet. And most certainly will see some time again this year.

Oh yeah, definitely meant that in the sense that “Barg” (Bart) is what he is, and having him sit in the press box wouldn’t hurt him in the same way it would Valimaki/Kylington/Andersson/Kulak.

Foo is fighting the nerves tonight.

So far, I’m impressed with:

Jankowski
Dube
Lazar
Kylington
Andersson
Valimaki
Gillies

and everyone else has been fine, if not “pre-season sloppy”.

Gillies save was nuts.

Also, I could watch Kylington skate all day long.

That was basically this year's version of:

"That was the save of the year and it isn't even the year yet!"
