Well I screwed up...I wanted to start over in Morning Wood, and I ended up bouncing myself out of the region. Can I get an invite again please Top Shelf? Thanks.

Regorium, you've got a pretty nice city going there buddy!
I checked the region this morning and we are sharing quite a lot between our two cities. I've bought excess power, sewage, and water from your city and it looks like you've sent some police to patrol my streets which is nice. I think I have 38 police cars, but it doesn't seem to be enough.
We're both over 200,000 people, but I think you're in better shape than me.
I've got a screenshot at home of your regional buses lined up to get into my city full of people. Not exactly sure what they are coming to do though...maybe work or maybe go to the casino...there's isn't a ton of shopping in my city.

I tried to reclaim the whatever cliffs on Morning Wood earlier for 20 minutes but could not claim the plot. Since someone took my spot apparently I'd be up for a restart too.

Is there no way to abandon a city and simply restart it, without all the previous buildings being there?

In hindsight, I suppose it does make sense to not allow people to restart their cities, since there are usually established trade routes that neighbouring cities are dependent upon... but, I guess that's why hindsight is 20/20.
Edit: I've been chatting with worth via Origin, and we just keep missing each other, it appears. He should be sending me an invite to the region again when he gets a chance. Having said that, though, I would be up for a restart of the entire region, if people wanted to do that.

Did you not get the invite fanin80? I sent one a couple days back. Maybe it didn't go through...wouldn't be surprised. I can't even get into the na west 1 server at all the past two days.

I took over whoever's abandoned city Balzac was and have nursed it back to health. Now I'm getting kind of attached to it. I did rename it to Restoration City though.

Just an FYI, if the CP regions get restarted it would probably be better if they were put on one of the new NA west servers (3 or 4). So far they're performing much better than the others
