I like the idea of doing some sort of tribute to the Cowboys on one of our jerseys eventually.

How about keeping our current home and away unifroms, and for a third, use the same design, only without the black. I think that would add a cool retro feel, but keep the style modern.

I do like the fit of the Edge jerseys though. I think the perfect jerseys would be the 2004 template on an Edge jersey.

I think the cowboys hat logo would make a good secondary logo (even a modernized version) for the main jerseys and then after a couple years if the approval rate for the secondary logo is good then go ahead with a 3rd jersey using it as the primary.
In a perfect world I'd like to see us have the late 80s jerseys as the main ones, then a 3rd maybe using the '04 template, but the colours modified to not include (or drastically reduce) the amount of black. I have no idea how to do my own templates, but if someone else wants to take a stab at it feel free.

Hey nicely done! That being said - we just cannot ever do a yellow jersey. The winter classic was just barely ok as a one-off with all that yellow, but a jersey (even just a 3rd) with a yellow base is too close to Ronald McDonald for comfort - just can't do it.

I'd buy both the red jerseys.

I like the alternate jersey. Has the 04 template vibe, but a re-vamped version of it.
I'd buy it.

Love all three. You might be able to lose the shoulder striping on each one, but its not that big of a deal.

I would be curious to see what our jersey would look like using the vintage Tampa Bay Buccaneers colours, or is that too pacific salmon-y?

Yeah, I'd be happy with those. Back to the team's proper colours, more modern than the original 1980's design, and black is relegated to the third, novelty shirt (where it should be).

I didn't say when I posted these, but they are my favorites thus far that marry the traditional with the beloved '04 red/black cup run version. I'd be stoked if this was the new set.
Also - I tried to find who did these to give credit, but all I can find is a post with no information on who actually did the concept. Here's the link: http://www.icethetics.info/nhltol/20...ry-flames.html

Ugh all these concepts are terrible.
The Flames need to go back to the 89 set. You dont see the Red Wings or the Canadiens moving away from their classics. Neither should the Flames. Its timeless.
Also lose the tie up collars; the Calgary Flames had nothing to do with that era of hockey.

Seems to be some recent interest in discussing jersey designs, so I'll bump this thread...

Everything about the old jerseys (back when we won the cup) are awesome. I recall seeing us wear some sort of retro jerseys last year and I thought they looked awesome.
