LOL.
Not that I dont agree but do you think maybe OU is better than what the one bad game at KSU has showed? They have a pretty good Defense and their offense is very explosive. Am I saying they are the best team in the country? No but I believe the KSU game was an aberration. I mean gave the ball away in our own endzone for a TD and then fumbled a snap on the 2 yd line going in for a score and they still only lost by 5 pts. As a homer OU is the #1 team in the country but as a college football fan they have to be a top 5-6 football team.

The big 12 is a strong conference. In a playoff system OU if it won out would get a reprieve - KSU has some strong games ahead - as a current KSU (distance) student I would find it difficult for them to win out.

So Ole Miss beat Florida at Florida a few years back ( 08 , see Tebow The Promise) .. Does this mean that Ole Miss was a better team? Of course it didnt but Tebow lovers in the media made sure he got a reprieve. That's why the human polls suck. IIRC Florida got dropped only 8 spots in the poll after losing to an unranked team at home. Anyway, KSU has a good team but you as a student have to admit ... they arent better than OU. OU wins that game 9/10 times but hey ... tis why we play the games on Saturday eh?
KSU could run the table... Too bad we dont have a Big 12 championship game anymore.

Yeah and dont forget.. It's at and during the Texas State Fair too. Nonetheless I have been to the game before and its neutral. Pretty much split Crimson and Burnt orange right down the 50yd line. It's a pretty cool site to see.
On my way to the UF vs Vandy game yesterday we had the Red River Blood bath going on the radio on my phone. It was the Austin Texas feed and when we stopped for Steak and Shake and came out they turned the game off and went to basic ESPN radio in Austin.

You do realize that the "playoff" they have set up for next year is a 4 team joke playoff right? OU would probably be left out if KSU ended up winning the conference which is dumb. The playoff didn't and wont fix anything that everyone complains about in CFB.

Dude get over it, Tebow 08 team lost by one point at home to Ole Miss. Then they went on to kick the holy crap out of everyone on the 5th ranked SOS schedule in the country.
That year Oklahoma had the #2 SOS schedule and got beat in the title game by Florida. I know you're upset still about it because the game was in Florida and you wanted to play BSU or somehting like that so you could lose to them again.
If OU wins out the rest of the year and KSU loses two you guys have a chance of being in the title game as long as Oregon and their stupid uniforms aren't undefeated.

Traditional nuetral site games are awesome. I love the RRS and the WLOCP because it's the same stupid red and black split by Orange and Blue.
I will say that picture of the cotton bowl with a packed crimson end and dozens of puke orange looks awesome. Sad part is that there were more Texas fans at that point of the game than throughout the whole Miami game.

lol SEC bias? How is that? The computers bias towards the SEC? the coaches tremble in fear towards the sec? (because that is the poll that goes into the formula along with the Harris)
If Florida wins out they will have the best resume in the country. If Florida wins next weekend they will be in Atlanta vs probably Bama.
I don't get why people get all butt hurt about the bcs standings at this point. UF vs Bama in the SEC championship game. and ND has some big games left, as does Oregon. They're the undefeated and it will work it's way out. Hell the last two weeks the top five had a team go down and could happen again this week.
Florida still has USCe, UGA and FSU to go on the schedule and if they beat USC they will be in the seccg.
I don't get the venom about Florida but whatever floats your boat. Too much football to be played yet.

Stanford and their fans really got screwed over on that last play. That was defiantly a TD, he rolled over onto the bodies and reached ball over the goal line. They never blew the play down either and his momentum never was completely stopped. Really bad call in favor of ND. Just to keep them undefeated for an easy game vs the weak BYU who they should roll to setting up the Oklahoma game which will be huge TV ratings especially since they just destroyed Texas.

You honestly think the bad call was made "to keep them undefeated" and not because it was a big pile up and tough to see?
ND was outplaying Stanford and likely to win whether refs called that a TD or not.
And his forward progress was definitely stopped. The refs didn't call it dead do I guess the TD shoud count but they should have blown it dead based on his forward progress.
