Notre Dame looked impressive, however I still want to see them compete against some SEC or Big 12 elite teeams.
Texas could have won that game. I think we have a definite 10 win squad. Our offense is quite better than I thought we would be, however our defense is not good at all. We have the talent, but now I am thinking Manny Diaz isn't as good as advertised. If only we hadn't missed that field goal. Oh well, on to OU next week where I think we win.

You're correct, however this team reminds me a lot of the 2006 Florida season. The games were not pretty but they won.
in 2006 the offense averaged 396 yards of offense per game and now they're averaging 407.5 yards per game of offense.
The 2006 defense was averaging 50 yards less per game also. Like I said, looks a lot like the 06 season. Do I think we're gonna win the national championship? no, not with UGA, USC, FSU left on the schedule and if they make it to Atlanta probably Bama. I said before that I thought they could get a 10-2 season but something like 9-3 or 8-4 were more likely this year.
The team has stopped their Me me me attitudes and bought into the team. But I honesly believe our best thing was the Hiring of Jeff Dillman in the offseason. He is our new S&C coach and the only game I really saw any "halftime adjustments" was the TAMU game but the rest of them were just out lasting or out punching the other team. We didn't have the luxury last year with 69 players on the roster and that's why I say USCw is going to struggle. They have just as much talent if not more than anyone else in the country (USCW) but they don't have the depth needed to really keep up with teams with simular talent but a full roster.
yesterday's game was just a physical punching match. I'm so happy that we beat LSU but I don't want to get ahead of myself. I'm really happy that the team is showing signs of growth and moving foward.

Unbelievable in what happened in the Red River Rivalry Game as Texas scores a safety after a botched snap for the extra point after a Blake Bell TD.

Texas is getting their asses handed to them. Oklahoma leads 27-2 with 9:41 still to play in the second quarter. I'm loving it!

Damn 400 dollar tickets and Texas fans are leaving the stadium before half time. Once you leave you cant come back in so they are just boning out.

Really? You can't go out to the state fair, get some fried twinkies, play some games and go back in?

What a lopsided game as Oklahoma now leads 36-2 at halftime. The Oklahoma offensive manhandled that Texas defensive something really bad in that first half. The defensive too. I'm not complaining though as I loved every minute of it.

Not really a fan of Oklahoma but it is always great to see Texas and their scumbag fans get beat like this. Not surprising with Mack as their head coach.

Texas exposed as the fraud they are....yet again.
A top 15 team gives up 63 in a rivalry game? Seriously?

Stanford-Notre Dame going to OT tied at 13.
ND's D has been dominating as usual (Stanford's only TD was off an ND's QB Golson fumbled it away in his own endzone) but the O has had a particularly stinky performance. Can't remember the last time I saw the home team get this many false start penalties, their RG has 3 himself so far.
EDIT: What a finish! In OT, Irish get a TD pass on 3rd & 18 to Winnipeg's T.J. Jones, then the Irish D holds on 4th & G from basically the dang 1 inch line to preserve the win. You gotta love sports!
Rees finished the game at QB after Golson may have suffered a concussion late in the 4th Q.

How is that not a touchdown for Stanford?
The RB clearly put the ball over the line.
No explanation from the Notre Dame Propaganda Network either.

Forward progress clearly looked stopped but that was never mentioned by te announcers which seemed odd.
Looked like no TD to me unless the college rules are different from NFL and CFL.

If that were true, the play wouldn't have to be reviewed. The refs just say forward progress was stopped, go away.
So something else is fishy.

Mike Pereira who used to be the VP of Officiating for the NFL and is currently the rules analyst for fox just tweeted the following:
@MikePereira: We have looked at ND/STA last play from every angle & feel that its a TD. Progress was not ruled & runner was not down.
@MikePereira: The fact that the whistle may or may not have been blown is irrelevant. The play is reviewed and when the whistle blew has no bearing.
God I can't wait until Notre Dame just goes away like they do every year.
