My kids have been obsessed with Bluey for awhile now, and every now and then I catch an episode with them

1. This show is a breath of fresh air compared to Peppa Pig and anything they watch on Youtube kids

2. I was not prepared for the feels on the Sleepytime episode, a kids show has no right to hit this hard

When Bluey meets a friend while camping and they play everyday and then one day the friend doesn't show up to play because his family left....I was more crushed than my kids.

AND THEN HE COMES BACK THE NEXT YEAR!!!

Best show on TV imo.

My favourite Bluey episode is Take Away. Not just a great episode of kids TV but one of the best episodes of any tv show ever.

Bluey is easily the best young children's show on TV, maybe ever.

Haven't seen Bluey, but when I had my son I was blown away by the quality of kids shows these days

I’d say no. It’s too contrived.

So offside and so funny. I can't believe I hadn't even heard of it, yet alone watched it before seeing it mentioned in this thread. And still going

The criticisms are valid, and some of it is a mess, but I've found both seasons pretty entertaining and easy watching. The cast and cinematography help overcome the faults for me. I think season 2 is maybe a little better.

Yep. 100% agree on this take. There is nothing that comes close in terms of quality of animation, writing, and VA. Bluey should be up for Emmys in general categories, not just Children's programming.

The only show I've seen recently that even sniffs it is Shape Island on Apple+, but even then it still falls short.

One of those shows that's good all the way to the end. I hesitate to re-watch due to some of the more disturbing moments.

Spoiler!

It is definitely not a series that is "re-watchable".

But, it is something that should be watched by anyone claiming to have a valued opinions on shows. It is so well done. It is gripping. It is occasionally fun and exciting. To me, most critically, it is a sombering look at humanity in an 89 episode journey.

Wife and I binged Shrinking Fri/Sat/Sun. Such a great show! It's been renewed too, which is awesome.
