Blindly?

He put the puck on Monahans stick....who then flubbed whatever it was he was going to do.

Disagree that was on Tanev other than he was expecting a whistle.

That is correct.

The least challenged area on the opponent’s forecheck is the net front area.

Sean was wide open and muffed it.

That’s on Sean, not Tanev.

So checked - the worst D of that team was + 30 (Orrs Partner was +90 haha)

So a 90 difference between worst and best D on that team

We are 55 games out of 82 and we have a 58 +\- difference

We are just behind the pace for same position difference as that Orr year

Let that sink in …..

Just eke out a point and I'll feel ok about this one.

Schedule is a death sentence.

Caps are dominating. Just gotta get out of this period without surrendering another goal, regroup, and push back hard in the 3rd.

For the most part the Flames just look a bit tired, a bit off.

Hopefully there's enough in the tank to play a solid 3rd.

Hardly a wonderful read Kelly. The Caps goalie was going to be in that same position in the net/crease whether Hanifin hammered it on net from that angle or there was a slap pass and a tip (which took all the steam off of it).

It seems like Mangiapane has spent more time on his ass than his skates.

Tired hockey team and it would be hard not to be with all the hockey they have played of late.
