Monahan line has caused two, with two bad giveaways.

But the whole team’s been sloppy throughout. Getting into the bad passes in their own end, the rings to no one and cute passes at the other blue line. Need to clean it up.

Yup if Monahan isn't scoring, have someone that is defensively responsible.

I approve Monahan and Lucic on the bench for the 3rd.

True nuff. Put it into a bad spot.

When Tanev is making poor decisions you know you’re off.

I blocked Lanny, but can see him in your quote.

Tell him he's right.

That is on #23, that is the designed play for D men for the breakout. See it often this season to have the centerman circle low like that. Risky for sure if there is any bobble or pass behind or ahead, but there’s a reason Monahan was down there like that.

Tanev made the right and planned play, Monanhan just whiffed on it.

What does a Monahan buy out look like with a year left, worth it or no?

I'm not versed in that part of the game whatsoever.

And would it generate enough space to fit Jarnkrok here, hypothetically?

So the play to make when you expect an icing is to blindly throw the puck to the slot? Tanev screwed the pooch.

Lindy is +44. Monahan is -14

I wonder if a 58 difference between players on the same team is close to a record

It’s unbelievable
Just off the top of my head Bobby Orr was +124 in 70/71, most of his team was 80-100 behind that.

Kadri about to be a UFA. Wouldn't mind giving him some of those Monahan dollars.

What are you talking about. He made a pass to the centre coming down for support. Monahan them makes a bad pass and a turnover.

Can somebody take Hrudey's microphone away? Or at least tell him he is the Flames broadcaster.

Don't think the Flames could afford him unless Lucic and Monahan are gone with no retention

There was a guy right on him. Probably not the best choice by Tanev. He didn’t whiff on it so much as the puck was given to him right as he was being covered.

He will be hunting for 7-8 per, I'd reckon.
