Hartley seems really hesitant to throw him out there in those situations. I understand they're trying to ease him into things, but this kid is easily one of our fastest skaters, not to mention the most skilled. 4 on 4 would give him all kinds of space to make some magic happen if he gets the puck. Wouldn't it ultimately benefit Johnny to put him out there for that?

Sighhh Cassie.
If she wasn't an ex woman's team all star, she'd been turfed long ago. She's gotta be the most unexciting personality on air.
If HNIC feels the need to have a female interviewer with insight, can Cassie and hire the girl that was in Selkirk, MB the other day with hockeyville or whatever it was called. she was smart, bubbly, and knew her stuff.

Looked like Ramo was off-centre in the net.

Flames did not have Brodie-Gio tandem and Colborne line against Ovie's line there.

Time to start running with the hot hand.. Hiller.
Can't be giving up goals like that 30 seconds in.

Agreed. Nothing against Ramo. He's played ok. But I'd say right now Hiller is the better goaltender.

I'm thinking Hudler gets shipped out in a trade here before January.

That was a bad goal. They happen, but it shouldn't have happened.

Calgary looks all out of sorts. Can't even dump the puck in properly.

How about a penalty against the Caps....

I dunno about that. Hrudey lives in Calgary and covers Flames games. Elliot Freedman is on Fan960 every other day (if not every day) and seems to know a ton about the team (just wrote a great article about Brodie). Cassie Campbell lives here and is married to a Flames exec. That's plenty of Flames know-how.
Kypreos is just not very smart, and Strombo I dont expect to know much about the Flames.
Sometimes you get the sense that the HNIC panel doesn't know much about the Flames, but Im not sure you can say that about this intermission crew.

Did that graphic just show Backstrom as having 372 goals? (should be assists...)
