Good effort so far by the Flames, just too many cute passes in the offensive zone.
If they simplify a bit and start shooting more I think they can win this.

terrible 2nd period for the Flames. There was no flow and most of their passes are not connecting. Colborne and Brodie are doing a great job making Ovie invisible so far.

i'm going to assume the Sportsnet website is messed up. They have it Orpik with 2 for boarding, 2 for roughing, 5 for fighting and Bollig with 2 for roughing and 5 for fighting.. which can't be right based on how it was being played.

Big third needed. If these boys unleashed more sneaky shots, I think this game is 2-2 at least... I love the puck movement, but need that shot

In house they called Orpik for two minors (roughing and a hit to the head) plus a minor for Bollig (roughing) but then Orpik only got one minor (for roughing). Was there any comment on tv about a penalty for the hit?

Actually if you listen to the radio broadcast now, there is some socially awkward silences between the new guy and PL. Thank God PL is a pro because he's really let a lot of things slide. The post game show a few games ago had some chippiness
Actually entertaining to listen to.

If you check nhl.com, Orpik only got a two minute minor for roughing. So I'm not sure what's going on...
