Thanks. That would work for me.

There is no way anyone gives the flames a 2nd for Kipper.

In exchange for Kipper the Flames will get a game worn Gilmour jersey. A game worn Leeman if Kipper retires after this season.

Feaster should be tarred and feathered for even considering helping Toronto get in the playoffs or succeed at all.
After all the history of the Flames destroying their rosters with Leaf trades.
Makes me puke.

Kipper shouldn't even be playing, let alone being traded for.

Just encountered something weird on TSN mobile...
A story popped up titled 'Super Second' with a photo of Kiprusoff at the top. When I clicked the link, it went to the J-Bo trade story. I went back to the 'Snapshot' page, and the headline/ photo was gone.
I wonder if someone jumped the gun on a Kipper for a 2nd rounder story...

Dreger was just on the Mike Richards show and said that the Leafs are "keenly" interested in adding Kiprusoff. He said Kiprusoff, although he hasn't played well recently, "just makes you a better team".

I had a little butch at Toronto's prospect pool and came across this little fella. What do you want to bet that Feaster has his eye on him in a potential Kipper trade?

Agreed. If I were Feaster, I'd trade him for anything we could get if he wants to be traded, or send him home to spend time with his family and get his head right if he wants to play in Calgary next season.
As I said during last night's game thread, either he's quit on the team or his mind is elsewhere. Whichever it is, it's not doing him or the Flames any good to have him on the ice for us right now.

..or, given that his wife had a baby just a couple of weeks ago, he isn't getting much sleep.....
I don't really remember what that time was like - it was some 24 years ago for my second son, but I do remember the lack of sleep!
And the Flames defence really, really, really sucks - they haven't protected him worth *&^%$ in the last batch of games. Watch the first goal in the Oil game last night - Gio just backs away leaving Schultz alone in front.

That's what I meant when I said that his mind may be elsewhere. I've been a huge Kipper supporter over the years and am in no way hating on him now, but if he wants to stay in Calgary, I'd tell him to go home, take care of his family, get some sleep and come ready to play next fall.

That was bad, and the Brodie giveaway a game or two ago was just atrocious. That, combined with the way that other teams have been running him all season with no repercussions, makes it somewhat understandable if he's quit on the team. If he doesn't want to be here, I'd grant him his wish and get whatever draft pick we could in return.
Either way, I don't see any advantage to having him suit up for the Flames again this season.

As a Flames perspective you get a better draft pick by taking salary back, and we add an overpaid 5th D man that the Flames could use. He is still better then Butler, Babchuk, Smith, and Sarich, plus he would add a little toughness to a team sorely lacking it. Not to mention the Flames have tons of cap space open, so his salary won't hurt us and it would expire before any of our prospects need to be re-upped (Baertschi, or any of our 3-1st rounders this season).
The Flames would play him 15 minutes a game, and he would be on our pk.
I think this would be a fairly good move for both sides.
PS I believe he was an A in Toronto and Montreal so he could provide some leadership too.

I would take that in a second. Not sure how long he is signed for after this year. If long term buy him out! Would be 4 1st's quick rebuild.

I would do kipper and stempniak for their first alone as well. More picks equals profit
