Yes I was, it was a long time ago but from what I can remember a Police car was in the lower parking lot and people where gathered around it, I remember a certain person stuffing something in his gas tank and then leaned into the window of the car and started talking to the officier, then out of somewhere somebody threw a rock through his back window, the officier jumped out of his car and everyone backed off... soon there after a number of back up vehicles arrived and the herd ran into the school... there was a lot of drug smoking and dealing going on at that time in the parking lots, I remember the rumour going around that the parking lot was being observed from the Hayes Farm apartment complex next to St.Gerard church.... somebody spray painted "Kent State remembers" on the west side of the school... I remember it making the news.... looking back on it , it was pretty lame....
