I remember overreacting after game 5 and deleting every Canucks fan off my Facebook and then regretting it after game 7 because the tears would have been delicious.

I'm surprised the Panthers lost tbh.

Whenever their foot is on the pedal, they're better than the Oilers by a fair margin.

The problem is laying off enough to let them back in it. Still shocks me how fortunately and easily the goals come for the Oilers when other teams do let up. Usually teams come up short of the full comeback much more often than these buggers do. But it is what it is.

All Florida and Maurice need to do is not deviate from the approach that puts them out ahead on the scoreboard in the first place.

Yeah it's an exhausting way to play for 60 minutes, but it all but guarantees the W.

Don't let the opportunistic team get its opportunities by giving them the chance to come at you.

I’m surprised anyone lets off the gas when they can bury their opponents. NHL teams always do it with a 2 to 3 goal lead. With the Oilers fire power you can’t let up.

I think if Maurice reassures his guys that they’re the better team and continue to take care of business (without of course taking the foot off the gas pedal), and remaining disciplined, they’re still going to win this. If they can’t do these things they will lose.

Edmonton’s only two wins in this series are both from OT, one from a power play and one from a fluke goal that deflected off Miikola.

Just take care of business. They are so much better when they play their game.

The refs have completely lost the plot.
They are just doing what they are told. Seriously, it's pretty obvious that if Gary can help his golden child win a SC, he will. He can't fix the games but he can slant the ice and we have witnessed that.

I dont even think the Panthers let up much...refs gave the Oilers a couple gifts and they got a couple bounces. Panthers were getting high end chances all game. Bob had an off game.

McHobo regularly holds opponents sticks, often for several seconds at a time. I can’t remember him ever seeing him be penalized for it, even though it’s so friggin visible and obvious.

So Bobrovsky has to be better than Calvin Pickard.. high bar, apparently.

What's with D tier players all their career pulling out unlikely performances for the Oilers. Pickard and Podkolzin last night. These players weren't far from the waiver wire if not for Edmonton picking them up.

Things happening the last two years for them that shouldn't. Unsustainable PK last year. Older and slower derpth chipping in this year.

Apparently teams dont have an answer for 40 year old Perry. Like are you kidding me lol.

And he's been doing it for so long now that it would have been pointed out numerous times by now from people not part of the NHL that they should be aware of it.

But they ignore it because he's their golden boy.

Agreed, and Bob’s gonna substantially step up his play. There’s no way he’s gonna get out-tended by Pickard…

I see zero traffic in front of the ENG net when either goalie is in net . That has to happen. Skinner just isn't good and Picard ain't much better.

Pedal down Panthers do not let up . Take the mullets out of the game early don't give them a chance to even offer lamentations. Just crush them and drive them before you as this is whats best in life.

Go Panthers Go

Hopefully the friendship tour on the road continues.
