So basically, you would like me to edit my post and say "I believe" rather than "I'm guessing"?
Really?

Hey, that is how he has been all thread. Very annoying and providing very little to the thread other than picking his nose and attacking meaningless points within a post.
ADD: I will say that in some post nose picker has made some good points but in most IMO have been nothing more than picking fights.

If he committed a crime before dozens of witnesses, then why wasn't he charged? No-one seems to want to address that. Unless.... he didn't commit a crime, a fact that would be confirmed by the dozens of witnesses who were present.
The easiest way for this to become a non-issue would be for there to be solid evidentiary ground upon which Gates could be charged with disorderly conduct. If you have that, there's no issue, no public relations fiasco, nothing. So... why aren't they doing that?

Yeah, like the police were going to charge Gates with anything after the President goes on national TV and calls the actions of the police 'stupid'...and says the incident was racially motivated.

Except there is no reason for the officer to completely make any of this crap up.
I have a hard time believing Gates wasn't lying considering he is an arrogant , plus he was playing the race card from the start.

Okay. Lets agree that the police probably shouldn't have arrested Gates.
Are their actions still stupid? Racially motivated? No. Therefore Obama is a moron.
Sorry, I just didn't see 'Obama is a moron' for 5 pages now, and felt the need to point that out again just in case everyone had forgotten about the fact that Obama is a moron.

There's plenty of reason for the officer to fabricate. You've just decided that it is not possibly the case and turned a blind eye towards it. It's still there though, I bet if you look behind that wall you've built you'll find it.
I'm not saying that he did or didn't fabricate, but you're going way FOX News on this. The cop is without a doubt telling the truth 100%, and Gates is obviously lying because he's arrogant. You've come to these two concrete conclusions based on what? What you've read on the internet?

There were a ton of witnesses though, including his partner. If he lied, he would be toast.

There are plenty of morons with multiple degrees. I sometimes act like an idiot and I probably have as many as Obama does.

Totally. Getting into those Ivy league schools is so easy, especially for some poor kid from Hawaii who lived most of his life without parents. I hear being president of the Harvard Law Review is the easiest position in the country to achieve. In fact I'm applying right now in case my Japan vacation falls through. :P

Here's a good article about Henry Louis Gates Jr.'s rights.
http://www.slate.com/id/2223379/
It appears that the officer failed to provide ID as well when he was asked by Gates so it does appear that the officer himself broke the law.

One can be a moron and have a distinguished Ivy League resume. Moron in the sense of doing or saying something stupid, as opposed to being a drooler with an IQ of 80. Very smart people can be stupid, if you know what I am saying. This is not the first for Obama - recall him calling for a lynch mob for the AIG executives for receiving their retention bonuses. That's two clear examples of him ignoring or being ignorant of the facts, but using his bully pulpit (the greatest in the world) to incite populist hatred. In fact what Obama has shown so far in his tenure is that he is a panderer - I suppose that is not so much "moronic" as it is "scummy", so if you insist I will not refer to him as a moron in this context, but as a scumbag...
