My goodness. Calgary is going to lose to Chicago's farm team and misfits.

Losing to bottom teams has also been a problem for the Flames for some time.
We like to leave what should be easy points on the table.

Would be nice to see the Flames come out hard after embarassing themselves for two periods.

2 periods today so far. It's not like this is anything new this season.

I gotta disagree
Not against this Chicago roster
It is becoming more and more obvious that this Flames roster has misplaced priorities
They’d lose to the Calgary Buffaloes given the opportunity

You definitely can see one line came with energy that period, might need to shake up the Kadri and Lindholm lines to get them rolling as well. Backlund, Mangi and Coleman were very noticeable.
To me, Osterle isn’t an NHL dman at the moment. He makes so many little mistakes in a game and you don’t want a 6th or 7th dman being that noticeable especially for the wrong reasons. Would’ve like to see kusnetsov today to get a better look at him.

I prefer last year's 4th line over this year's. That's really sad.

Win or lose, I expect it to be a fun third with river hockey.

I don't even remember Millen in a 'Hawk Uni. He only played 13 games for us, and half of those were blacked out in Chicago.

Don't count your guys out too soon. It's not like my guys have a habit of "lock down" 3rds.

Even tired, a team with this much veteran presence should easily handle Chicago.

Not to harp on the afternoon scheduling too much, because it seems like the NHL is scheduling more afternoon games in general these days. A quick look at the schedules of other teams shows that other teams deal with it too.
The thing that bothers me about it though, is that it seems like the same teams that host a lot of them. Do the Flames host any this season? I think they really benefit the home teams in most cases, especially when more time zones are being crossed.

Millen talking about having watched the great ones come into the league when comparing Bedard, and mentioning Gretzky, Lemieux and Crosby and ignoring Mcdavid makes me an even bigger fan of him!

Of course, when I say "my guys", I mean the guys wearing Mahkatêwe-meshi-kêhkêhkwa's image. I don't recognize over half the forwards that are dressed, today!

Interesting, numbers wise the 4th line this year is putting up slightly more points.
Side note, wonder why no one is mentioning Dillon dubes name much, he’s been probably the worst flames forward arguably most nights and extremely disappointing numbers so far this season, also reflects in his ice time as well.
