As mentioned earlier, all hepped up on slurpees and Doritos, overtired now too. Just lashing out
We should give him a break

Works for me. Better than guaranteed losing for 6 more years!

what users have posted on CP has neither won nor lost the Flames a game in the history of the franchise.

Hey, it's worth a shot though! Maybe if we say "it was in" a few more times we'll retroactively get the cup

Come at me I guess. Hawks, ducks, bjs, bruins, whoever, they weren’t going to beat an nhl level team tonight.
There is nobody here who is happy with the Flames. The “tear it down and tank for Bedard” group is pissed that they lost draft position, the “sell off spare parts at the deadline” group is pissed that the team didn’t regain any assets for high performing players, the “eternal optimists” are pissed that the team couldn’t even make it to the biggest game of the year against the team that we are chasing before laying an egg and basically pulling the plug on our chances.

Nobody is happy. Everybody is incredibly frustrated at the flames.

I totally 100% agree .... yet, I (we) pay tens of thousands each year for this entertainment. So, ya, I am stil angry how tonight went!

It meant way more to me when my daughter won hockey provincials. Way more! And cost less lol.

But ya, I am still angry over tonight's debacle.

Some of us just cant turn the emotion off like you can.

Yes me too. I'm angry over tonight's debacle as well. But I'm angry at the team, players, coaches, but not at my fellow fans. I don't call my fellow fans dumbass for supporting the team. Lamenting on and on at the fans for believing is irritating.

Clearly some fans are the problem. And by the end of the night, or tomorrow, or next week, bubbsy may, possibly, perhaps figure out which fans he’s talking about.

Maybe cut him some slack; I mean if you are in the basement, in your underwear and it is cold, it is hard to type and even harder to remember things.

I try not to get too upset over that. It catches me sometimes, then I remember that at one time or another most of them have been outed as Oiler fans, who have so little to do (for one reason or another) that they spend their time here pretending to be angry Flames fans.
Once you remember that, it’s quite funny, in a pathetic way.

Can't say the same for the other guy.
Could see re upping Toffoli then having a Huby- Backlund- Toffoli line

Huby and Toffoli have great chemistry and Backlund and Huby have great chemistry.

Seems like a no Brainerd but I'm no Daryll Sutter.

I think a big reason Huberdeau did all those things is when He said ita nice to be wanted it awesome Calgary wanted me he was genuine. I think that's probably a big part of his personality is mutual respect and loyalty. The team wanted him , the community wanted him so Huberdeau is paying that back.

I think once Kadri left Toronto that part of him died
He became a mercenary. His dream was probably always to be on the Leafs. He grew up cheering for them , for all intent and purpose his self of community is in Southern Ontario. He already vetoed a trade to the Flames because he didn't want to leave Toronto . They then traded him fairly shortly after to.Colorado and he was shocked . His NHL dream died so I think he just dosent care and it's just a job to him now like any other independent Contractor. He got his cup he didn't get signed ad fast as he thought he would and just took the biggest dollars.

I don't get upset when those pretender lamenting the team, saying how bad they are. I just laugh. But this time, it really irks me that he is lamenting the fans, calling us dumbasses for believing. IDK, my late girl friend's birthday is coming up, may be I'm just sad.

Also another big Piss off about Kadri is trying to do everything himself. Take puck from left side wrap around net carry back to right point.

Dude dosen't use his teammates enough. Leads to all.sorts of turnovers.

We are getting Burke era Kadri not Colorado Kadri.

Remember in the Iginla era when we were saying the reverse of that, that we had a great finisher who couldn't play to his potential for lack of an elite passer? Maybe I'm just further along in the Flames Fan Grieving Process at the moment but the world has a funny way of coming full circle (or in this case maybe 180 degrees) sometimes.

I ain't even mad. This season we're either finishing 9th or getting drummed out of round one in four or five games. It is our destiny.

Yes! I remember that! That brought back angry memories. We had such passer in Savard, and because of a dumb coach and even dumber GM we lost him for peanuts!

O, you mean Darryl Sutter. The current coach. He was the Gm and Coach at that time.

Have lived through that period of Flames history I wasn't stoked to have him back.

Don't get the love fest when Sutter was Hired. Has Calgary ever had good times with any of the Sutters? Except 04. That was a St. Lous style run from the bottom except St.Louis finished the job. Out side that 1 year the answer is a strong no but Calgary seems to love Sutters for some reason.

He means Gilbert and Button, the actual coach and GM at that time
