Flames seem to have some sort of chip on their shoulder and I really don't get it.
Fleury played in the outdoor alumni game. He wished Iginla nothing but the best yesterday. Don't get why he isn't invited onto the ice. None-the-less I agree tonight was about Jarome and very deservingly. Just think Theo should have been there because he was there at the beginning of Iggy's career (first assist/goal).

I like how Matthew Tkachuk genuinely corrected himself and apologized for calling Iginla "one of the best in franchise history" instead of "thee best in franchise history".
It was also cool to see great Tkachuk was with Iginla's kids.
Agreed...but that doesn't explain Chris Dingman being there.
Why?
Perhaps Iginla had a say in who sat in those seats. I don't know his personal relationship, maybe he's buds with Dingman. Footage from earlier at the night showed them arrived at the Saddledome going through security together.
I know a guy that played hockey with Kipper post NHL, and he mentioned that Kipper said he wouldn't go back for his own retirement, so does not surprise me that he was not there. Just not his bag
