That NDP candidate who spent the last election in Vegas and everyone thought was a big joke is well on her way to winning again. Believe she actually was praised throughout the term so maybe not a big surprise.

Libs need 40 of the last 100 seats to get a majority. I think it'll be close, but looks like they will get there. Maybe 178-117-31-6-1?

Assuming it's representative.

The problem is advanced polls, hospital polls, and old folks homes are smaller and therefore are counted faster so can skew results.

A sample size of 80 probably has a plus / minus of 8% or so if it's a representative sample your right.

I know Dalhousie, Charleswood, Brentwood and Highwood are strong for the Conservatives.
Was thinking up through Crescent Heights, and north to McKnight. That's my bike route

Depends on the riding. Calgary confederation for instance is going to get completely different results in Sunnyside than in Dalhousie.

Only 20 odd of the last 76 seats needed to get a LPC majority? That is crazy...

So much for "send(ing) Harper a message" guy. He's got less than 10% of the vote so far.

Grant pulls into the lead in Confederation after 7 polls (1,425 to 1,263). The first bit of red in Alberta so far.

Ya, but they could just not release results until BC polls are closed. It's not like they are counted in front of a TV camera...It doesn't seam right that you can know what is going on before you vote...
