Exactly, I wouldn't be surprised if BC ends up having a terrible turnout considering they have announced a winner an hour before the polls closed.
Like have some common sense, they shouldn't be legally allowed to announce a winner before all the polls are closed.

they usually do not announce results in western canada until after polls close... but with the internet and all things have changed. perhaps we should change voting times so it ends at the same time for the whole country?

I didn't even realize that Confederation spread that far east. I thought it stopped at Edmonton Trail. I haven't been involved in the federal campaign though but there were many requests for my help and time.
