Neymar...maybe, its tough to tell with him but I'd definitely have Suarez in ahead of Neymar.
I guess it depends on the criteria. Muller gets you goals but he also provides clutch goals and intangibles.
|
Well Inter had just won the Champions League when we had this conversation so Sneijder was on a roll. Muller was being benched by Bayern.

Moreno and Lovren on the left side. I'll guess that thats where the first goal against comes from.

If Arsenal win out they'll draw level with Olympiakos as they stand now so as long as Olympiakos dont get any points out of 2 games, not impossible because they've got Bayern and Arsenal up, the damage was to Arsenal's goal difference.
|
Doesn't really matter. First tiebreaker would be head-to-head goal difference so if Arsenal beats Olympiakos by 2 they finish ahead (assuming Arsenal beats Zagreb and Bayern beats Olympiakos). Of course, winning by 2 in Greece won't be an easy task.

Its definitely do-able unless Olympiakos snag a result somewhere.
Is there something wrong with Sakho's studs or something? Every time I see him hes falling down. And all of his movements seems so awkward. Is it just me?

Guys like Lukaku, Benteke and Hazard are beasts. Definitely going to be a force to be reckoned with in France next year.

Lukaku is about 20 years old in that picture.

I'm not saying that they're not good, just that the 'World Rankings' are ridiculous.
Belgium are a good team. Best in the World?

DFB president Wolfgang Niersbach has stepped down today as a result of the 2006 scandal.
Quote:
The president of the German football federation resigned on Monday over a Fifa payment that has resulted in a tax evasion probe.
Wolfgang Niersbach said after an emergency meeting of the federation that he was taking "political responsibility" for the affair, although he had no reason to "reproach myself."
Frankfurt prosecutors are investigating a payment of 6.7 million euros ($7.22 million) the federation made to FIFA in connection with the 2006 World Cup in Germany. Niersbach, who has been the president of the federation (DFB) since 2012, is also a member of the executive committee of both Fifa and Uefa.
The 64-year-old Niersbach said he was stepping down "with a heavy heart" and "I can say in good conscience that I have nothing to reproach myself" with over the payment at the center of the case.

Became DFB president in 2012 though. Was he really responsible for any of the bribes/corruption leading up to the 2006 Finals?

he was the vice president of the German WC committee in 2006, so he was definitely involved. Plus the German media more or less proved that Niersbach lied numerous times in interviews, press conferences etc about his knowledge and involvement of the payment in question. He simply had to step down, it was inevitable.

Wow. Well, dont be subtle or anything Neymar, tell us how it really is.
Quote:
Neymar Sr. says his son will not sign a new Barcelona contract until tax "concerns" are straightened out with the Spanish authorities.
Tax inspectors in Brazil are also currently investigating Neymar's finances, amid claims tax havens were used to avoid payments to the government in his homeland.
Meanwhile, the player, his father and senior Barca figures are still to appear in court to explain his controversial move from Santos to the Catalan club in summer 2013 -- amid suggestions that deal was structured in such a way to avoid paying the required taxes.
extending the player's current contract which ends in 2018 had begun, but nothing would be signed until there is clarity over the tax situation.
"There cannot be these tax concerns from not knowing if we are doing things correctly.
"We must know if Spain accepts our situation. It is hard for us because we are receiving many attacks, from Brazil and from Spain, in tax matters."
|
http://www.espnfc.us/barcelona/story...on-tax-affairs
Rough Translation:
"Barca, use your Catalan influence to get the Big Bad Spanish Tax Man off of Neymar's back or hes going to take his ball and go home. Well, not home precisely because the Big Bad Brazilian Tax Man is also on his back, but he'll go somewhere where he doesnt have to pay taxes!"
Pay your taxes you whiny brat.

LOL, it was the evening of the CP server upgrades, so I imagine one of the clocks was reset.
And I'd go so far as saying, the FA is the most reputable national football governing body on the planet.
