Is arsenal just not interested in the champions league? They are just sitting back letting bayern dictate.

To be fair taking 3 points from Bayern at the Allianz would have taken a minor miracle.

3-0.

Yep. I hope Arsenal celebrated that win at the Emirates like it was the Cup Final because this is the consequence.

Put the pedal down hard Bayern.

Arsenal look like one of the east european teams that barely squeaked into the CL.

Yeah and then Muller basically does the same. They switched off like 20 minutes ago.

If Arsenal were on six points, I wouldn't have expected a result tonight. After winning the reverse fixture, it was all but sorted. Had Arsenal finished off the few clear chances they had tonight, the scoreline would have been respectable.

Theres really not a lot to take out of that game, Bayern had it wrapped up after a half hour and then flicked on the Cruise Control.

If Arsenal win out they'll draw level with Olympiakos as they stand now so as long as Olympiakos dont get any points out of 2 games, not impossible because they've got Bayern and Arsenal up, the damage was to Arsenal's goal difference.

When Arsenal created a few chances in the second, I instantly put it down to Bayern playing in a lower gear. However, you take your chances rather than questioning why they came.

Muller might be the third best player in the world but nobody believes me.

Very true. You've got to play the game you're dealt.

Thats a tough one. I like Muller for what he brings, and trust me when Lahm retires thats going to be his armband. He brings goals, chances and leadership.

But 3rd best? I dont know. I would say that hes in that conversation.

There was a conversation I had with people at a pub that other than Ronaldo and Messi who was the best player in the world. This was 5 years ago before the 2010 World Cup. There were votes for Snejder, Schwienstiger, even a young Neymar was coming up. When I mentioned Muller they threw me out.

But in the end, he might end up breaking Klose World Goals record!

You should have bitchslapped the guy that said Snejder. That guy has been irrelevant for 5+ years now.

Neymar...maybe, its tough to tell with him but I'd definitely have Suarez in ahead of Neymar.

I guess it depends on the criteria. Muller gets you goals but he also provides clutch goals and intangibles.

I've been saying he is THE BEST player right now in the world all season (on current form). I can definitely see an argument for him being 3rd best in the world behind Ronaldo and Messi. I am however completely biased. Certainly he is one of the most complete attackers in the world.
