Thanks for ruining the Bobsled for me, CBC.

This game eerily reminds me of a Brent Sutter led Flames team. Canada had better hope that this does not go to a shootout.

I'd rather watch Canada play Latvia, Finland, Norway, Austria, etc than any NHL game. That makes it more entertaining to me

What the hell flew up your bonnet? All he said is in a 7 game series Canada would be nearly unbeatable, and that in a single elimination style tourney anything can happen.

Red John is going to look pretty stupid for his public call out of puckluck2 if Canada can't pull this off...

I will say this, the U.S click as a team much better than Canada so far. I am cheering for Canada all the way but I am having serious doubts this group can beat that U.S. team.

watching NHL players on the big ice (not just canadians, look at how ineffective malkin/ovechkin have been), i'd love to hear how scouting strategies differ from the guys out watching the euro leagues vs the CHL/north america.

are we guaranteed to face the USA in the semis should we win? that could be an ugly day for hockey canada the way this roster is playing.

Exactly, Hamhuis provides nothing on Subban.

It'd be right up there for sure. Sweden/Belarus in 2002 was pretty bad.

I don't know what it is, we just can't seem to translate this game to the big ice. 2006 they played six games, got shut out in three of them.

I know some people consider what you've said to be an overreaction, but I'm nervous too. They've gotten a lot of good chances, just can't bury anything.

Wasn't trying to call him out, just trying to get in touch with him somehow.

If Canada loses the disappointment that they couldn't defend the gold against Latvia will be far more disappointing personally than losing some money.

I think most of us at work thought we'd be back to work with the game on in the background, a nice comfortable lead. And yet here we are. Too early to say next goal wins, but if Latvia gets the next goal I see overtime at best for Canada.

This is a game where Canada needed Subban. Hamhuis does nothing special.

There is no way Latvia holds that much talent off the board for another 30 minutes, especially if it gets to 4 on 4. Not without generating good scoring chances of their own. I think Team Canada gets 3 this period.

I know what he said, but it's completely irrelevent which makes bringing it up pointless.

Blaming the ice size is stupid, adapt your game to the surface you're playing on.
