disagree on him, I think he was the best English CM in the league last year
would have had him in the 2nd team of the year as well for CM
I am really hoping he doesn't go to Arsenal, he is exactly what they need, they have lacked someone with any steel since Viera left

Liverpool look set to ditch Jovanovic Belgium and possibly Joe Cole to either QPR or West Ham.
Aaaaand......
Quote:
Harry Redknapp has rekindled his bid to bring former Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor to Tottenham in a sensational swap for Aaron Lennon.
Adebayor is out of favour at Manchester City but his £170,000-a-week wages were preventing a move to White Hart Lane.
Even a loan move was proving too expensive for Spurs but, according to the Daily Mirror, Redknapp could get his man if he lets England winger Lennon leave for the Etihad Stadium.
City manager Roberto Mancini is keen to sign a wide player and turned his attention to Lennon as Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger remains reluctant to part with Samir Nasri.

I dont know what Adam Johnson has to do to prove that hes a really good wide player. Hell, I'd take him on Liverpool.

Mancini handles young players very poorly in my opinion, he should be playing every week

Also Rumours that Kenny is still after Jose Enrique.
I kind of almost dont want him. Are we not done raping Newcastle?
Also, it looks like Wenger might be able to hold the ace in the hole and cup tie Fabregas. That would piss Barcelona right off.

Be interesting to see what Cesc does there, if he really wants to force a move he finds a way to miss that game
the rumored price for Enrique is 5.5m, I know he is in the last year of his deal but that would be a big bargain

That would be bargain for him, but based on what we know of how Newcastle do business he should just start bad mouthing Ashley on twitter and maybe we could get him for free.

Sky is saying Lass Diarra to Spurs and Lukaku to Chelsea should both be completed today
Wilson Palacios spotted at Stoke today for a medical, wish him the best of luck, think it's a great place for him and hope he can get his career back on track. Ever since his brother died he has really struggled.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at Arsenal for a medical as well, dubbed the new Theo Walcott
so basically he will be the exact same player when he is mid 20's as he is at 17

It's not that I think we shouldn't be paying that much money for a young player but why can't we also start coughing up the cash for older/experienced players? Balance Wegner, you senile old fool! Maybe he has gone crazy...

It's going to happen, I don't think there has really been much doubt about the transfer fee United would have to pay to Inter but more that Sneijder did not want to take a wage break to fit into United's pay structure.
I think that Nike will probably move in here and cover the difference in wages, as they have been known to do in the past, since they stand more to gain from having Sneijder in a United kit then in the Inter colours.

Exactly, they're going to have to open their wallets, just like City....
Hopefully bringing in Sneijder will make Rooney demand a transfer to hold out for another £200+k/wk....

The thing with United in recent history is that they seem to always be able to make these type of things work. They will get Sneijder to sign up at a "reduced" wage bill and things will all be good at Old Trafford.
Then we will see Nike giving Rooney and Sneijder a raise through endorsements and using them as the main figures in a new advertising campaign leading up to Euro 2012.
