I believe in the Jays.

Our defense has been really disappointing so far this season. Snider has looked awful in left, and 3rd base has been a circus except for when Johnny Mac played there. Lawrie looks like he is ready so hit at the big league level, but his defense also looks weak at best. Hopefully he can improve that and become our full time 3rd baseman soon.

That trade boils down to getting a reliever with options vs a reliever without. Right now we have too many relievers, so getting a minor leaguer who's doing good helps.

A's needed another pitcher on the current roster. Braden was placed on the DL today and Harden was transferred from the 15 day to the 60 day.

It puts him in a position to succeed statistically which gives him the prestige and money you mentioned. But while that sort of scenario works when you have the Sedins, it doesn't quite work as wellwhen you're the Panthers and Stephen Weiss is your big gun.

Robyn Regehr wouldn't embrace that role.
Some guys would rather enter a game with runners on base (or start shifts on the PK). League used to fit in that role, not sure who it is now. Camp maybe. Camp is a guy that is better suited to 1-on 1-out than starting a fresh inning.
The Panthers have no shot at making the playoffs in MLB, no team without a bullpen has a shot. If you don't have three major league arms in your bullpen then you aren't competitive and roster compisition to maximize wins is fruitless.
Speaking as a Jays fan, I'm better served with the spectacle of a closer then uber-optimized bullpen matchups.

Scuttlebutt is that he is really being exposed defensivly. Teams are making an effort to get the ball to him. Third-hand reports though.

Wow I surprised Litsch was sent down instead of Reyes (who has no options left).
I guess that means, Morrow will be activated in the next 2 or 3 days and Luis Perez will be sent down.
Morrow would take Litsch's next start would be my guess.....

Bad base running by Patterson, should be 4-4.

Awesome. Love beating the Yanks. Huge hit Snider.
EE is going to be out of breath for a couple of days, went past 2nd and had to retreat, then went to 2nd on Escobar's fly and had to retreat, then went 1st to home on Sinder's hit. Good cardio workout for him.
