That’s 3 out of 4 games the Panthers look like the better team. That said, I think the home ice is pivotal and wouldn’t be surprised if we see the best from the Oilers in game 5.

I watched games 3 & 4, aside from stepping out in the 2nd period of game 4 because I didn't think I needed to watch anymore.
I have a hard time watching Oilers home games. That fan base is beyond annoying. Thankfully I'm the only person at work who follows sports so I can get away from their fan base during the days. A few years ago I was one of 5 people who loved hockey and the other 4 were Oiler fans and my hatred of the Oil was fortified because of how they behaved.

I completely agree, it's just too gross. The atmosphere is annoying, they get preferential reffing at home...even their goal siren is annoying. I can't do it, it legit puts me in a bad mood.
I just keep an eye on the score on my phone, and if the Grease fall a couple goals behind or are losing late, I'll flip it on. I can't even do it otherwise.

I think the oilers bizarre decision to practice twice in Florida comes into play the rest of the season. They are already playing their top guys more. Their 6 game segment will be: game 3, practice, practice, game 4 (ot 5 D), travel, game 6. I can see another blowout coming.

Serious or not, it's all cringe especially for the woke spiritual leader.

Absolutely. Been doing that every game.
Will put down my biggest wager in the playoffs on the Grease to win game 5.

I have never seen a player hold another player's stick for as long as Skinner did last night, not even close - like, not even half that long. The reason being, it would get called long before that point.
And the fact that the play resulted in a goal, after what? 15 or 20 seconds of him holding the stick?
The refs have completely lost the plot.

Even my hardcore homer coiler fan friend admitted it was egregious.

I had a couple hundred on them in game 7 last year and didn't lose a minute of sleep over it.

Monster trucks call in OT popped up on my Twitter feed and they posting it saying it's the greatest goal call ever. I decided to watch it and it's the most cringe goal I've ever heard in my life

Yes, oiler fans harassing Skinner's family is rather shameful.
Whereas my post is sarcasm, calling them out for doing that.

Let me clarify. They should not actually do that, and I hope they don't because that's no good.

Just drove past the construction crews on Deerfoot & 16th. They had a big ass Panthers flag flying from their concrete forming machine.

I think Florida is the better team right now, just praying they execute.
Oilers are really missing Hyman, Klingberg out hurt a bit and Ekholm isn't 100% either. Kane has lost some steam too. Nuge is hurt too.
Biggest worry is McDavid steals a game for them on his own or Bob has a bad night. Lucky bounces, who knows but Edmonton looked gassed last night once they tied it up.

And on the off chance they don't, let's all remember 2011 where the Bruins had to win games 6 & 7 to vanquish the Canucks. Game 7 being in Vancouver. And with Marchand there on the Panthers, he's a pretty great steward.

I have confidence they can. If the calls are even and neither team gets way more lucky bounces, Panthers look like the better team.
Keep the foot on the gas with the lead too. Unreal how dominant thy were, got up 3 to 0 quit and then they were the better team again once it was tied.
They did get a lucky bounce to tie it though so Edmonton could have easily won in regulation.
