Right? I honestly can't think of another guy that I've flipped on so much. Absolutely loathed him as a player. Now I think he's probably the best panelist. Insightful but also entertaining. A total natural.

Sportsnet panel likes Kadri in Tampa and Minnesota... (not rumours, just spec). "Could be the crown jewel today..."

"Kadri is the crowning jewel for deadline day."

Not something you read on these boards. Best believe Conroy is working the phones. I am convinced Kadri will at least get done. If we don't deal Coleman until next season, I don't mind that at all. Kadri to me is more of the priority now. If you can move both, great.

Hopefully those guys are not on his NTC list. I worry a little about the delay between getting a deal agreed to and having to get the player to waive.

I like Bieksa on the TV panel. Then you watch him on something like Spittin Chiclets and are reminded of the Bieksa I came to loathe.

I still think he's a knucklehead, but he's carved out a good niche for himself on Sportsnet.

O-Dog calling other people dummies on the panel. Lol. Awesome.

These guys are miserable.

Tampa would be fun for Kadri if we could get O’Reilly and Geekie out of there for him and take a cap dump back as well.

Idk what they have for dumps even atm.

I feel like the Wild have kinda blown their load of trade chips, but maybe they still have something enticing

It is correct

So the Avs could have traded for Kadri, bought him out after next season and they would be on the hook for 4 seasons at 1.87 million and the Flames would have a retention slot being used for 4 seasons and it would cost the Flames 460,000 dollars.
Lets trade for Fredric, get the Oilers to retain 50%, and immediately buy him out. Boom, Oilers have 1 retention slot filled through the Decade of Darkness 2.0.

Do you really think he is referring to a 5th round draft pick?
Did you just read the part about how the retention slot could be abused by a buyout done by another team, or…what?

Well, there goes the dream of Kadri, one for one, Bradley Nadeau.

I expect important conversations were had with Kadri last night and early this morning. If you want to be traded, we may need more flexibility. Any other options for you?

Does it matter for the rest of the year? Figure it out in the off-season.

Who cares, it could be Eric Francis for all I care. We need to be thinking bottom of the league.

The risk is, if you don't have centers that can play and defenders that can move the puck you will damage your promising forwards.

That's the risk of bottoming out and stripping it down to the studs.

Say yes to Carolina if you want the cup, Kadri......I've never been but I've heard it's a decent place. It's not slummy like Atlanta or Detroit....

I am still hoping Detroit makes a push for Kadri. They have the cap space & assets to make this work and they have been good this year.

I think Kadri wants his family to stay in Canada so he is picking teams closer to the border or in Canada
