It's dumb, but it's even dumber that Trump actually thinks he can rattle Hillary. But I'm guessing he assumes everyone is as immature as he is, so in his messed up mind it could work. If anything it probably has a higher potential to backfire on Trump than it does of hurting Hillary.

In an interview with BuzzFeed News, Yusef Salaam said he thinks an appearance at Wednesday’s debate in Las Vegas would be a good response to an event Donald Trump held at last week’s debate, where he appeared with several of Bill Clinton’s accusers. The women also sat in the audience for the debate.
“It would be great to be invited and sit on her side and be there the same way [Trump] invited those women to rattle her,” said Salaam. “Honestly, it [would be] more of a statement to the public so that they’ll know she has her hands of the pulse of what’s going on.”

I don't think anything rattles Putin, least of all Hillary. She basically will have the same policy options as Obama, which Putin gives two craps about.

Now, Clinton may have given private assurances to members of our “cognitive elite” that she needs to talk up the plight of the economic losers but doesn’t intend to do much of anything that would impede the dynamism of the global marketplace. But she’s stuck with a party that lurched to the Left under the influence of Sanders, and likely a Congress that will want to take further steps toward significant “Progressive” economic reform.

I'm not sure if you're talking about Foval or O'Keefe, but O'Keefe settled a lawsuit over the ACORN video faking, and had a felony charge reduced to a misdemeanor when sending in goons dressed as telephone repairmen (LOL) to bug a US Senator.
