Russell Wilson is a beaut though, I don't see anyone hating on him anytime soon; he seems to have a real good head on his shoulders.

You forgot the Jets btw, they are definitely one of the more hated teams in the league. I'd also add the Ravens, Redskins, and even the Raiders among the most hated (far ahead of Seattle). Raiders might be not at the same level as they once were, but they were the most despised team in the league when they were relevant.

seems everyone hates a winner....until its THEIR team.
The Pats weren't hated by anyone prior to the 2000s, everyone felt sorry for them until they started to win it all.
Cockiness and braggadocio go with those types of teams it seems.

From the taunting Facebook posts I am seeing by a couple Niners fans since the win, I am thinking both have an annoying fan base.

Good game by the Saints last night. If they want to do anything in Playoffs they need to secure home field and then take their chances on the road in Seattle.

Thought it was very interesting when the announcers started talking about Newtons body language and it's so true. When things aren't going good he starts pouting. Put on your big boy pants buddy and show some leadership.

I truly believe that Seattle is the most hated team in the league. The Redskins, Jets, and Raiders have been all kinds of pathetic this season and its hard to hate a loser. Whereas the Seahawks have been involved in countless PED scandals, arrogant players and coaches that make them easy to hate, and the biggest bandwagon in sports right now.

I'll say it again: Cowboys, Steelers, Patriots. Literally no way any other team in the league can crack that top 3. Its just not going to happen, particularly the Steelers and Cowboys. Unless you cheer for those two teams, you basically hate them by default. Hating the Seahawks may be en vogue right now, but its straight up ridiculous to suggest they're the most hated team in the league. Even the Packers are probably more hated than the Seahawks. The 49ers should be more hated because their coach is the biggest crybaby professional sports coaching has ever seen.

Shot in the dark here but does anyone have Sunday Ticket with Shaw? I have it with Telus, but I'm going to be out of the country on the 22nd and 29th and Telus doesn't offer the mobile option that comes complimentary with Shaw's. Just wondering if anyone isn't using theirs so I could throw it on my tablet and watch while I'm out of town.

Really all the NFC East teams are hated to some extent because they do get quite a bit of media coverage, but the Cowboy's have their own special pedestal. I think they are the most hated team in the NFL by a big margin. The Steelers and Pats are too, and that is because they have been good teams for longer periods of time. I think by the late 80's and early 90's the Steelers weren't as disliked since they had become a bit irrelevant themselves, but with a couple Superbowl win's recently started things again. The Patriots because of the spy gate, and that they have been a playoff team for what will be like 11 of the last 12 seasons and always a pre season Superbowl pick. Really though...Dallas probably started being less hated in the 80's than had it come about again in the 90's...somehow Jerruh, has managed to still keep them well hated as the team has mostly been irrelevant on the field for the last 16 seasons.

Me personally, I hate the Colts because they keep giving franchise quarterbacks to the Bronco's, and that their owner annoys me too.

Well you'll get to exact some revenge in the Wildcard round. Pretty much looking like it will be Kansas City @ Indianapolis in that round.

Cheat (Pete) Carrol is easy to despise as well.

Their fans are also beyond obnoxious, everyone is on the bandwagon right now and are just as bad as rider/canuck fans in their arrogance.

Maybe it's just me because Im a big Niner fan haha, but I think the rest of the league will grow to hate them more and more as time goes on..
Certainly has to do with the Niner fan in you.

Tate why? Because of MNF vs Green Bay? Lynch and Thomas because they're recognized as good around the league? Sherman is mouthy, sometimes too mouthy...but backs it all up.

Carroll because he's a rah rah coach?

"Beyond obnxious" fans? Seattle's getting more attention from outside people as top teams in the league usually do, but within Seattle, they've filled the stadium every year since before Superbowl, and have 62000 season ticket holders...even when it was Charlie Whitehurst and Tavares Jackson running the show.

Or because if you're in Calgary you have to see them every week?

I don't have to defend my support for the team, but there's a lot of stretches in there as a reason to call them "the most hated team in the league" any more than any one else's opinion on who the most hated team is.

Shaw's Sunday Ticket is region locked so you won't be able to use it out of the Country. Time to spring for a sling box.

Couldn't it work through a VPN service?

he drives me nuts the way he chews his gum, almost the same way the Pats coaches look like a bunch of scrubs that just rolled out of bed.

Always find it funny the coaches change from suits into track pants and a hoodie, seems backwards to me

I hate the Seahawks almost as much as the Packers, Bears and Lions. That started from way back when Fox (Shaw 22, pre HD) would ALWAYS show Seahawks game. Then it grew from there with Pete Carroll, some of their players and generally their fan base (even before they were really good).

I'm not pointing to any Seahawks fans here per say or some of my close friends that are Seahawks fans but I'd find some of them to be the most obnoxious football fans around, moreso than Patriots fans...hell even more so than Rider fans.

Bell Media and NFL contract renewal has expanded NFL coverage on TSN and CTV. TSN and CTV will now be picking up both daytime games. They lost NHL, had to increase coverage of other leagues.
