The next person who tells me NFL refs are better than CFL refs is getting smacked. Zero consistency

Yup. Totally offensive league. Hit on defenseless receiver penalty is a joke.

Colts clinch a playoff spot and the division with the Titans loss to the Broncos. Looking more and more like we will be the #4 seed at home in the wildcard round and the Chiefs will pay a visit to Lucas Oil Stadium.

Huge hold by the 49ers receiver on Kaepernick's first down run. Nice play call though

49ers played a very solid game and were deserving of the win. Seahawks killed themselves with dumb penalties (some deserved, some not deserved).
Would love to see a rematch of these two in the playoffs.

One big play and then the fact they couldn't stop Kaperenick on that 3rd down so they could run another 2 minutes off the clock (aided by a hold).
That's the difference.
Not the worst result for Seattle. Grounds them a bit, reminds them that it's not going to be a cake walk even if they have home field.
With the out-of-playoffs Giants on the road next week, and then 2 home games, this is likely the most adversity and pressure they're likely to face (though the weather next week maybe another challenge) before the playoffs.
The defense has been awesome all season, but it's clear they have work to do on offense, as has been shown at various periods this season, to get more consistent and move the ball down the field in all 4 quarters (it's usually a couple good quarters that's all they need).
Also, to be more efficient in the red zone. Struggles with it this year have taken points off the board, and today was a prime example, moving down the field, being in the red zone but then settling for a FG with 6 minutes to go, changed the finale, being up 1 instead of 5.

I didn't see the game but was listening and Dave Logan and Ed McCaffrey agree with you. However, Pollard bumping a Denver trainer was idiotic.

Didn't see the bump, but Im not shocked. Pollard plays over the edge and it leads to very frustrating and stupid penalties.

Are you a Seahawks and a Riders fan? You just need to cheer for Vancouver and you will be a fan of the 3 most hated franchises/teams in all of sports.
It's about time Seattle got called out for their notorious holding of receivers, Its crazy how much their secondary gets away with game after game.
Hopefully the refs call it more as the season goes on.

I enjoy watching the Seahawks but I don't really follow any one NFL team too closely. Mostly just follow players I like. Just think they (and the 49ers) play football the right way. Not sure how they are more hated than the Cowboys or the Patriots, among other teams...
My problem with the refereeing in this game was largely the push offs by receivers on both sides, as well as the facemask penalty against Seattle when there was no grabbing the facemask. Whitaker's taunting penalty seemed pretty weak as well.

The Seahawks are one of most hated teams in sports?
The Cowboys and Giants are by far the most hated in the NFL.

Cowboys, Steelers, Patriots are the 3 most hated, the Seahawks are just called Seadderal, not that hated. I know Niners fans despise them but thats it really. Panthers biggest issue, that their offense isn't very good, has been exposed tonight. When they get behind they are not built to come back. And with long drives they must cash in TDs and not FGs.

Well the only 3 playoff spots up for grabs seem to be the NFC North, and NFC East Division winners and the number 6 AFC team. Carolina could choke, but Arizona still have San Francisco, and @ Seattle and are a game back. Carolina pretty much needs to lose all their remaining games to lose their spot, and it might end up being Philly or Dallas who would than claim that #6 seed.
In the AFC it looks like Baltimores to lose but Miami has an easier schedule. Still I think the Dolphins and Ravens end up tied at 8-8 and Baltimore holds that tie breaker. That lame PI call on that overthrown pass saved the Ravens playoff streak today.

Seattle will quickly climb to be one of the most hated.
They have easy to hate players in Sherman, Thomas, Lynch, Tate with all their over the top cockiness and disrespect.
Cheat (Pete) Carrol is easy to despise as well.
Their fans are also beyond obnoxious, everyone is on the bandwagon right now and are just as bad as rider/canuck fans in their arrogance.
Maybe it's just me because Im a big Niner fan haha, but I think the rest of the league will grow to hate them more and more as time goes on..
