I refuse to deal in modern vernacular and only refer to women with 1920's-30's era terms like dolls, dames, and skirts.

I pretty much stick to "women" or "ladies". Seems like just about anything else runs you the risk of being labelled as misogynist or pedo ("girls").

You can also never go wrong with 'folks', as it can be used with most anyone in the group (as far as I'm aware).
