As far as I'm concerned, that's a Raptors win when you discount the absolute crap calls on Wright and Bosh in the 4th.

Heartbreak city! (Gus Johnson voice)

What an amazing shot by Kobe there.

Raptors showed some fight though tonight and didn't lose anything in the standings with the Heat loss

Do other teams fans jump out of their seats anytime the ball is going out and the away team touched it last? Saw it at least twice in this one.

Laker fans are one of the reasons I hate the Lakers, that really adds to it. If they're going to do that, the NBA should take away their floor seats.

Like how Bosh has extended his range to the 3-point line though.

Pretty poor coaching to not have a timeout.

Not calling a timeout after Kobe's shot with 1.9s left? The Raptors didn't have one so it was poor timeout management by Triano

Jack played really well last night and really set the offensive tempo for the Raps.

Yeah, just thinking back, there was that time in the 4th when Evans got trapped with the ball in the offensive zone, couldn't find an option, and Triano called a timeout; wasn't late in the shot clock, either. Dude needs to learn to put out his elbows and spin. No excuse for a guy with his size to get trapped like that.

Complete robbery last night. Jack likely paid off the corrupt NBA refs. Those phantom calls were terrible.

for confidence I consider that game a win.

That third quarter against the Kings is quite possibly the worst I've ever seen the Raptors play.

That's exactly what I meant by not have a time-out.

Anyways, brutal game against Sacramento. And just when the Flames start playing well.

Wow, they suck. GState and a portland missing both 5s and aldridge.

These teams exploited the raps to the level I had been wary of since this team was put together.

Granted the officiating was bad in both games, but you gotta earn their respect by taking it hard to the hoop at risk of personal injury. These guys are sssssoofffft. No sense of killer instinct or system offensively outside of bosh iso's. These guys are so weak on the road that they are guaranteed go to game seven of the first round max.

Bosh leaves via sign and trade with miami and another team since they will do nothing in the playoffs.

Start from scrap but this time properly build through the draft...cough babcock...cough arawhojo over iguadala..cough...

I'd say this team is made up of two pansies who affect the team bigtime - Bargnani and Turkoglu. If these guys are on their game they're excellent players to have, but more often than not, they don't show up for different reasons - Bargs because simply he's a whimp and gets intimidated (and also because of his on/off ######ation) and Turk because he's lazy and collected his paycheque. Simply and aweful team to watch. I don't know what the coaching staff can do though. I think they're playing DeRozen perfectly for his rookie season (and he's doing very well in that role), and the rest of the guys do play a good amount of minutes too. The bench players are solid, but for the most part can't be starters because of their limited offensive upside, or I'd take almost any over Bargnani and Turkoglu's half assed effort everynight. Frustrating...

I'd be optimistic about this team and their future if they didn't have Turkeyglue and his contract.

BOSH ERUPTS AFTER LOSS

After the Raptors lost their eighth game in nine tries, franchise forward Chris Bosh erupted on Saturday night.

"Just do it," Bosh said in a quiet Raptors locker room about starting to take their playoff run seriously.

"Act like you care. We need to do the things that win. We don't do the things that win. I'm going down and playing offense on their side of the court and their (bench) is louder than we are. That doesn't make any sense. They're not playing for anything. We're trying to make the playoffs. We're trying to get the fifth seed but that is, like, slipping away every day."

Bosh continued.

"We're supposed to be gearing up for playoff basketball and this is not playoff basketball," he said. "Their bench is more active than ours is. They're players are getting more stops. They're getting more offensive rebounds. Everybody is doing everything. If you look on the schedule now and see Toronto, I'm sure people are checking the win box. I can understand if we lose a game going down fighting, but we're not fighting at all."

I'm feeling good!
Well, now they have to go 13-4. Looks like I won't be making a donation after all.

With Utah, Denver, Cleveland, Boston, Atlanta on the schedule there isn't much margin for error.

My offseason prediction of 40-42 and an 8th seed isn't looking too bad right now.

13 and 4???? Yeah right, the teams they are going to play have all beat them handily at one time or another.

Bargs and Turkey aren't tough consistently enough get respect. They get none. Jack can be streaky leading to him being to shot oriented at times. The perimeter defensive issues are getting exposed by the worst in the league, save NJ.

Is another first round lost acceptable?

The parallels over the years to the Raptors and Flames are uncanny.
