At least we beat the Oilers!!! I'm ok with losing every game in December as long as we beat the Oilers.

and chill. Even with these deadbeats we'll still make the playoffs easily because of our crappy division.
We might not win a single game in the playoffs with this pillowy soft toilet paper lineup, but at least we'll make it.

Remember how Hrudey was pumped to watch Sam play tonight with all the energy? Zzzz

JG Sm EL back together on first line and Flames had best chance since Mangipane breakaway.

Honest question. Which goalie do you WANT to be the #1? The 'Hawks are the team that are trying to chase you down for the WC spot, so, if I was a HC, I'd go with whoever was the #1 to try to hold them off. If Rittich is the presumed #1, then it would be unfair to criticize the decision to start him this game.

I'm wondering if Ward isnt under orders to try different combos of players to see what can be moved with minimal damage to the roster. Maybe the Flames are doing a deep dive on the team. I'm grasping at straws. Out of ideas as to why this team is so bi polar.

Sucks that the Flames have ended the year playing such garbage hockey, especially after it looked like they had finally turned a corner during the 7 game win streak (not to mention that wonderful beatdown of the Oilers last week). Whatever the issue is, they just seem to have a lack of passion and drive this year. The magic just isn't there. Gaudreau's play this season is especially concerning. Compared to how he played last year, the guy has completely fallen off a cliff.

Rittich is really struggling right now as well. I agree with the posts above, I think they should give Talbot a few starts going forward and let Dave rest for a bit.

Yup, this first line is already way more dangerous than the Tkachuk-Lindhold-Mangiapane.

Talents not the issue with Rittich. It's his gas tank. Hes a v8 engine with a 40 liter gas tank

Bennett has a minute more of icetime tonight than Mangiapane does.

that makes absolutely no sense.

Treliving doesn't have the stones to trade backlund, Giordano, gaudreau, etc, which is what is truly required.

Just look at the ground breaking moves attempted to figure out the goaltending. Some long shot undrafted goalie is not even our 1a but our 60 game starter.

#### Taylor Hall. Go after a bonafide #1 goalie this off season. Rittich would be a fantastic 1B

Truth is, that there are rumors of seeing if Crawford would be willing to waive his NMC, some time before the deadline, floating around the Chicago media. Many are sold on Lehner.

Backlund back to his old line and still giving away pucks. He shouldn’t have been behind the net their either, Tkachuk almost ran into him.
