All the people in the GT saying the Oilers hits were in the Flames' heads. IMO Tkachuk was in the Oilers' heads and they decided to goon it up because of that, and eventually it bit them. Then they were behind and couldn't do it any more.

lol was just reading the GT before the 1st Calgary goal, wow, Gaskal could have done one ATL just on that "Time to trade Gaudreau, he hasn't had a big game in 2 years." "Blow this team up", "We are a terrible team"...
We are 11th in the League, 2 points back of division leaders Sharks with 1 game in hand, and if Smith hadn't been such a liability this year its very likely we would be 4 or 6 points further ahead this year at this point.
This is why I stay away from the GT usually, and especially if we are doing badly, holy crap the drama queens.

Was at the game and Lucic running around like a psycho pretty much gutted the energy in the Flames and the Flames fans in the first. The Greasers fans of course were drooling with delight at all the goon tactics against a Flames team that quite simply is not built for that.
What angered me was that the Flames kept bumbling the PP's that would have stopped that coiler gong show running everyone they wanted.
Gio played terrible in the first 40.
Neal invisible for all but 20 seconds on the night.
Rittich was outstanding all game, gave the Flames the hope they needed in the 3rd.
Ryan"s goal lifted the team that as bad and scared as they played the Geeasers only put up 2.
The Flames should be commended on digging and deep and not going quitely into the 3rd period instead they should balls and flat out dominated the entire 3rd period.
Probably the biggest win of the season so far.
Tkachuk was clearly targeted all game, didnt fer any points but he drew 4 pp for the team.
Lindholm was great but had an incredible 3rd especially.
It was great watching all the loud obnoxious combative greaser cockroaches scurry for exits

Lindholm is such a fantastic addition. So strong on the puck.
All 6 in our D group look great. These pairings are fantastic top to bottom. Gio should be Norris favourite. Brodie is a new man.
Tkachuk is god.
Bennett is a beast. He's been really strong this year.
Rittich was so solid. Love his game. I hope he's the next #1 for us. He just has great positioning, poise and he's such a weirdo, which is awesome! Teammates must love him.
It was fun being in the dome tonight.

Did you hear Toddy rationalizing away the Flames solid 3rd because they had their legs because of all the power plays in the 1st/2nd periods.
Maybe don’t employ dumptrucks incapable of anything but taking penalties. He knows his days are numbered.
Gone are the days of getting Captain Connor to cancel days off because they need to work on their game.
