Seems that in my circles people are more prone to make German Empire or WWI references. Or Prussian. Historians, always going a bit further

Teutoburg Forest would be a good one, but they seem to lose to Italy lately.

As for the game....wow didn't expect that. Brazil pumped Germany...wait what? A bit concerned that the Germans won too big, the last time they looked this good against Portugal they stunk against Ghana the next game. Going to be tough to go into the final with the correct mindset.

At least Low finally got the lineup correct. The 4-2-3-1 with Lahm at RB and Klose up front of course was the one fans have been wanting from the start but at least Low figured it out later than never.

Hoping for Argentina in the final but both them and Netherlands are weaker in midfield and backline and Germany should be favourites on Sunday regardless.
The Germans have struggled in game two of almost every world cup

Yeah, I don't appreciate these "all you Germans are Nazis" comments. My great uncle died in one of those camps.

He fell out of the watchtower.

I've seen far less lopsided games in house league soccer. Brazil looked like a bunch of U10 kids out there.

He's one of the worst posters on the sight, guy has an unhealthy hard on for the Lakers too. Likes to bandwagon top teams and then rage when they lose.

Back to the game. Seems like the Germans resented all the boasting by Brazil leading up to the game. Heres a post match quote by Joachim Low.

Germans have a great record of going in to the Final of WC, they just don't have a great record winning it all 3-4 so not counting 2014.

Of all the nations that have won a WC before, West Germany and Germany have the worse win lose record in the Final game.

they've won three! Only two countries have won more. I'd say that's a pretty good record of winning it all.

3-4 record in the final isn't bad. It's not like the RIders.
