The beer hall downstairs at Wurst on 4th st was amazing today.
What an atmosphere! Absolute gong show all afternoon.

As for the game....wow didn't expect that. Brazil pumped Germany...wait what? A bit concerned that the Germans won too big, the last time they looked this good against Portugal they stunk against Ghana the next game. Going to be tough to go into the final with the correct mindset.

At least Low finally got the lineup correct. The 4-2-3-1 with Lahm at RB and Klose up front of course was the one fans have been wanting from the start but at least Low figured it out later than never.

Hoping for Argentina in the final but both them and Netherlands are weaker in midfield and backline and Germany should be favourites on Sunday regardless.

There are multiple definitions. UD defines it as another way of saying "crazy experience." Which it was!

What a great time, can't wait to book a stammtisch for Sunday.

Auf gehts Deutschland!

It was as if Brazil took the "win it for Neymar" thing so seriously that they forgot to play the game

Also need to add congrats to Miro Klose on his 16th world cup goal, a new record! Fitting that it came against Brazil right in front of Ronaldo.
Wonder if Thomas Muller overtakes him though. 10 goals in 12 games and the guy is 24 years old. He'll play two more world cups at least possibly three. He could get to 20.

As much as I enjoyed the thrashing, did anybody else get the impression that the Brazilian players were scared to death about the consequences as they were leaving the field? I actually felt bad for them and their families. Knowing the soccer nation, who knows how many threats each of those guys are going to get? Sad really.

Not to forget that Klose's goal was the 2000th goal of the German national team. Couldn't be much more perfect than that.

Three is unlikely and even eight years is a long time to remain on top. That said, yeah, at this point Müller seems set to get close at the very least.

A few of my favourite Facebook statuses from the game today:
Brazil is pulling a Toronto-Maple-Leafs-Game-7-vs-Boston right now

Hey Louis Felipe Scolari, I have a special message for you from the citizens of Brazil: http://youtu.be/cNX_wGyKhmM
Brazilian educators have always wanted the children in their slums to learn to count to seven… but not like this… never like this

Brazil did nazi that coming

What a storybook game for Germany! Who knew it was written by George R R Martin?

Germany is ahead by like a Brazilian goals

Brazil has a chance if Germany starts playing Russia in the second half

You get a goal, and you get a goal, everybody on Germany gets a goooooaaaal!!!!

Didn't know all I needed to turn my day around were the collective tears of the Brazilian nation

			Hitler was Austrian by birth.
I must be the only one who doesn't think of WW2 when Germany plays soccer.

Or, don't talk a bunch of #### if you can't take it when it comes back. And it sort of is maybe the most embarrassing sports loss in recent history, right near the top ever.
