Crosby might have had his worst game of the season and it still wasnt close. He had a surprising lack of jump tonight. Very un Crosby like.
Also, I appreciate Conachers willingness to stand in front of the net with bigger guys, but you cant do that and then slash ankles after every time you get roughed up by a larger dman. Hes like a whiney mouse.
Anderson was pretty good though and hes gonna have to keep it up.

The criticism is warranted? Man you sure have a weird thought process. Hughson and Healy were grilling him for no reason at all. They are Nucks fans and are bitter about there early exit. This criticism or "hate" is coming from his days in Calgary, and has nothing to do with how he plays now.
Hughson and Healy are the official Canuck cack gobblers. They should not be doing play by play anyways, they totally suck. They just babble all game and get away from what is important.
Iginla played fine. He can play better, but so can everyone else. Iginla is not "the man" on this Pitt team. He is simply a piece to a very talented forward group. He shouldn't have to answer to anyone like he did in Calgary. Iginla is having fun playing with Pitt, and I guarantee he is adding a lot to the team and not "dragging" them down.
Top 3 in points in the playoffs and has at least a point in every game. Ya, I forgot, he is bringing them down.
The guy is a great hockey player and is thriving with Pitt. If you don't see that then your simply arrogant and probably do not like Iginla. So if you don't, go S hughsons D.

Iginla isn't playing completely horribly, but he has been no where near as good as his numbers would suggest and to say that he's thriving is laughable.

How is it laughable?
Contributing and getting points, is called helping a team win. In turn, he is thriving.

Some of the things he said. Didn't say a whole lot about the countless giveaways in the defensive zone or the inability to gain the offensive zone but makes sure to bash Iginla on every chance.

I thought the "Haven't heard the name Iginla for awhile" remark was pretty funny!

Nothing that was said on CBC is worth getting up in a roar about. Iggy had an average game, and shuffling the lines around did the Pens good.

You are an idiot.

Because he hasn't looked good. You could throw scrubs out on the first two lines of the Penguins and they could get in the right place and score points here and there. Do you think Iginla was taken off the first line because he was thriving too much?

Lol at all the Iggy haters out there, CBC included. The guy is just continuing to rack up points, doing what he's always done. Is he the Iggy of old? No, but can you fault a guy for aging?
When he was on Calgary he was criticized for not adapting to a secondary role and trying too hard to be the go to guy.
Now he's on Pittsburgh and he's criticized for adopting a secondary role and not being the go to guy.
Meanwhile he just continues to have a smile on his face and have an NHL career that few could only dream of, and Vancouver fans like Hughson probably don't even know exist.

The crap that Iginla is taking is getting a little weird.
To me he looks like a 35 year old former elite power forward. With Crosby under performing, Malkin taking periods and shifts off, Morrow hardly doing anything and seemingly the whole Defence playing average at best, the 35 year old future hall of famer is an odd target.
I would be lying if I said I wasn't hoping for more from him, but he is far from hurting the team. I'm still hoping he ups his game a bit, but he is not the chemistry problem he is made out to be.

I hate to see the criticism if they lose a series if this is the stuff they have to put up with while they are winning and have 3 guys in the top 5 in points.

I don't know his answer, but for me, it's because they are spoiled beyond belief (well according to the posts in HF anyway).
After the game 4 loss against NYI, there were some people giving up on the team and doing our patented "blow it up" mode. Their post game thread earlier has a lot of "Iggy dragging down which ever line he is on". Regardless of whether it's true or not, he isn't as appreciated as he should be in Pittsburgh which is why in my opinion as well that they do not deserve him. Obviously not everyone in Pittsburgh has this opinion but the fact is- Iggy deserves to be appreciated the way we (flames fans) did.
My opinion probably comes from all the Iggy hate and while it is true that he could step up his game, he is still playing just fine and is actually making contributions to the team. He's not hurting the Pens by being on the ice so the Iggy haters should relax a bit and remember that the flames are the ones who lost the trade.

Because nothing is enough. Pens is winning games and Iginla contributing points is not enough, he apparently sucks.
ye, I know, it's the butt hurt Flames fan here yelling.
Iginla deserves Penguins aka cup. That's how it should go.

Watching Iginla, I foresee five to six consistent 20g 50a seasons in his future as he moves up and down the Penguins depth chart from the 3rd to 1st line depending on the game and the situation, racks up PPG with his right-handed cannon, and finishes his career with 650g 850a and walks into the hall of fame.

Granted he resigns with the Pens.
