Friedman is awesome. Weekes I can handle as long as he stays out of the broadcast booth.

Iginla is somewhere around 4th in playoff scoring now after that assist, but clearly he doesn't deserve any credit.
Friedman is probably the heir apparent to McLeans slot when Cherry pegs out and CBC have to shuffle the deck somehow.

He's tied for 3rd in playoff scoring now and has at least one point in every game.

I wouldn't be surprised if HNIC moves to TSN/CTV when Cherry/MacLean retire. It's just bound to happen someday, especially with what the Government plans to do with CBC.

Of all the players to pick on, he chooses Iggy, wow.

Least of the Penguins' concerns right now.

If I were listening with my eyes closed I'd think the score was 5-0 Ottawa based on the commentary.

What is he saying about Iginla (I'm working and unable to watch the game)?

Nice dive from Letang. I expect that though, he embellishes as much as a Canuck.

A few ironies about the CBC comments:

Ripping Malkin because Crosby is the only player to have won an O zone face off.

Overall: Crosby = 39%, Malkin = 64%

Jarome Iginla is the worst player on the team and dragging Sidney's line down:

S. CROSBY C No Points or hits or blocks -1 4 shots 14:47
J. IGINLA R 1 Assist -1 2 Shots 1 Hit 1 Block 12:29

Obviously lots more to it than stats, and they did criticize Crosby when he wasn't skating, but they are really detracting from this game.

Too much embellishing on both sides, don't like it.

I know we all love Iginla, but the CBC hate tonight for Iginla is warranted. He has been invisible out there.

Sure he has an assist, but the puck barely went off of him and then Kunitz scored.

Fitting that Karlsson's pinch leads to the SHG after his pathetic dive to draw the penalty.
