I installed all the Windows updates for today and restarted my computer and it seems to be working now. Coincidence? I think... probably. But what I do get from this is that it's likely a temporary issue that isn't on your end and will resolve itself.

I remember getting that 3200 error when the beta first launched. It's just because Apple's servers are getting hammered right now.

They had like 4 or 5 pretty huge software releases today, and that doesn't even include all the iCloud activity as well. Give it time, it'll work out.

I'm getting a different error. Error 3002

Apple servers are at 50% right now. You have to keep trying or just wait until it calms down. That error occurs when iTunes tries to verify with apple servers.

Wow that took a long time. Got the 3002 errors the first few times, then it wiped my iPad and wouldn't restore. Finally my last attempt took about 2 hours.

It took 6 attempts on my iPad 2 and 8 on my iPhone 3GS, but eventually I got through the 3200 error.

So far so good, some nice features. I can't get the split keyboard to show even though it is selected in the options.

set up a custom keyboard shortcut to enter my email address. 4 letters with no switching keyboards now will enter my entire email address.

Ah: It's a checkbox you need to select when you have your device syncing with a wire

You're getting Error 3002 because you (or someone else) has jailbroken a device at some point in time using your computer, and your hosts file has been edited to send iTunes verification requests to a different destination.

Edit your hosts file using elevated privileges, and comment out any line that has gs.apple.com in it.

in iTunes enable Wifi Sync. It should then see your iOS Device under "Devices" if it is not plugged in.

You can go Settings-->General-->iTunes Wifi Sync then.

Or just drag n drop from iTunes (if you have manually manage enable)

Sync the device once via the USB cable, and toggle on the setting for "Sync with this iPad/iPhone over Wi-Fi."

Once you've done that, you should be able to sync whenever you want, from either end, just as long as iTunes is open on your computer. As an example, my iPad is sitting across the living room from me right now, in my backpack, but I've just alt-tabbed (cmd-tabbed, actually) over to iTunes and synced a couple of newly-downloaded apps over to it.
