No. Its actually worse.

Considering how much money they spent on it, they could have made it A LOT more interesting.

I downloaded Terra Nova and just skimmed through the pilot which is an hour and half and it looked pretty bad. Didn't Fox spend like a billion dollars on the pilot and marketing? I'm not even joking, that's what I heard.

Edit: Never mind, I think I saw that billion dollar figure off of CP somewhere. It did cost $20M though for the pilot. Mean while Chuck gets a budget of $12.

Just finished watching the pilot for American Horror story. Definitely has my interest and I will continue to watch this series.

It shows some promise, I agree. I like the pace, not much dead air, and there are some very good actors there. Of course it's all cliches, but the show piles them on at such a tempo that it doesn't really bother me.

The one negative was sobbing bare-assed Dylan McDermott. That actor is barely tolerable with his clothes on.

I liked the maid, both Ruth Fisher and the sex kitten. The man's reaction to her was so pathetic that it went right to the edge of dark comedy, which is exactly where the show wants to be. Seems like it wants to have some of True Blood's loose energy but also wishes to remain more serious and hardcore.

The internet.

It is on FX which at present isn't available in Canada.

To note about FX, they are finally coming to Canada. I saw an ad on tv for FX coming to Canada, but I forget what the date was.

Whitney - I will give it a few more watches, has some funny parts.

Free Agents - I actually kind of like. Clever dialogue.

Two Broke Girls - I laugh at this show. I have known so many girls that are one of the two (and many in between). It's not great, but since I watch all three shows around it, this is the one that I will watch the most I suspect.

Persn of Interest - neat premise, will continue to watch.

House was great, I'm hooked for another season. Easily my wife and I's favourite show.
I really like Whitney- 2 broke girls not so much.

House disappointed me, but ever since season 3/4 I have found it to be predictable and too "fluffy" for my liking.

Sad that Free Agents was cancelled. I actually liked the characters. Playboy club was a BRUTAL show and I can't believe it made it to the network in the first place.

Over the past few weeks I have watched Prime Suspect and I really like it. Have grown to get more bored by Person of Interest, but will continue to watch it.

American Horror Story is really interesting.

Connie Britton was in Friday Night Lights, and as far as I'm concerned she is an amazing actress.

My favourite new shows from this year are Suburgatory and New Girl. I'm going to try to watch American Horror Story at some point and I'm also looking forward to Grimm.

Homeland is my new favorite show so far. Interesting story line, fantastic acting, Damon Lewis and Morena Bacorin = win.

American Horror Story is flat out awesome. Really, really good. Great acting, too. The Virginia neighbour is really well done, and the ending to episode 1 was both creepy and a good cliffhanger. Definitely my show to watch this season.

American Horror Story may be good, but only Terra Nova will make you actually scream in pain.

And anger. And yes, horror.

Sounds good. I downloaded the first episode, so now I'm really looking forward to watching it.

Luck is an upcoming U.S. television series set to star Dustin Hoffman and Nick Nolte. Michael Mann will direct the pilot episode, which is based on a screenplay by David Milch. The series will premiere in January 2012
This doesn't start until 2012 but I am very much anticipating this.

Hopefully it's not bundled with a bunch of movie channels or extras that I don't want at a high additional cost like HBO is.

Actually, it's gotten the best ratings of the new Dramas so far, edging out Person of Interest by a hair. Been 14th, 15th and 18th for the first three weeks.

Me and the GF are watching it, but, there's something about Poppy Montgomery that makes the show hard to watch.
