So as the only fan of Playboy Club, what exactly will happen to the remaining episodes? Will NBC put them out on DVD, or what's the deal?
Shows that get cancelled after two episodes rarely ever get heard from again.
I've heard that they're going ahead with production on the remaining episodes that NBC has ordered in hopes that they'll get interest from another network, but with it being cancelled so quickly, it's not like it was close to being a hit.

Another full-season pick-up yesterday: 2 Broke Girls.
You know, I watched it and thought, it's not that bad. It is predictable and very common humour, but it made me laugh, so meh, it can stick around IMO.
It's not Modern Family or New Girl, but it's somewhat amusing.
The best new shows in my opinion are Homeland and American Horror Story. The best shows that have been around for awhile are Raising Hope and of course Dexter.
As a huge Fringe fan, I think the show is off to a bit of a weak start this season. It's had some great season premiers in the past with plots that were really integral to the overall arc, but this season is back to a monster-of-the-week format at a time when there are more questions about the overall plot than ever. They've actually been pretty solid as stand-alone episodes, they are just losing a lot of the momentum that the show gained through the machine plot in the latter half of last season.
Nobody talks about it on here, but I think that the first three episodes of Harry's Law have been awesome. I usually don't get into lawyer shows, but I'm really digging this one.

Have them on the PVR...haven't got to them yet. Really liked the show last season.

I agree - how many shows can they make about shape-shifters that can melt peoples' faces off?
Just watched the first episode of American Horror Story and really enjoyed it... By far the best new show I've seen this fall, I haven't seen Homeland yet though.

I really like Harry's Law. I enjoy Kathy Bates, I think she's a great actress. This season has definitely been better than the first season, so far. They got rid of the shoe angle, which was just kind of annoying, and the blond chick/student guy plot line that no one cared about. It's much better now.
Raising Hope is fantastic! I am so glad I started watching it. I really only ended up catching it by accident, as it was on after Will Arnett's other show on FOX. So great. It's really cute and silly. I like it a lot. I was nervous because I wasn't sure how popular it was.
Surprised about 2 Broke Girls. Watched the pilot and thought it was terrible. Whitney was okay, but I haven't watched it again since watching the pilot.
Still have yet to watch Dexter, The Office or Fringe.
There's so much crap on my PVR right now. I have no idea when I'll watch it all. It fills up quick too, damned HD!
This one still to come. Since Terra Nova was such a flop for me, hoping this is at least fun to watch:
I never even heard of this. As long as they mix in some comedy and don't take it too seriously, this might be really good. Definitely original, at least. Not much of that on television.

I'm by entertained by Suburgatory. One of my favorite shows of the new season. I really need to check out Homeland, I love Damian Lewis. Life was such an underrated show. They at least ended it perfectly when they did.

Jeez, I almost want to watch it just to see how bad it is... Is it at the point where it's so bad it's good?
I'm debating that myself. Just after watching an episode, I feel like I'm never going to watch another one, ever. The problem with the show is that so far it's been incredibly boring, not just bad.
It has an annoying family whose members behave strangely (because they're badly written) - but it's not really a "good" strange, more like "why are you acting like such a whiny little..." strange. The writers are trying to create drama out of nothing, so the characters just act like they need to be eaten by dinosaurs (none of them are going to be eaten by dinosaurs, that you can take to the bank, because it's not that kind of show). But it's just subtle enough to push your buttons instead of turning into a comedy.
There is funny stuff. Like all the best action moments in ep2 happened out of camera, with the characters returning to the village and basically telling everyone how awesome it all was. All the while the viewers were forced to watch Birdemic with dinosaur birds.
And they can shoot hundreds of rounds of ammunition into some medium-size dinos, and the cretures barely even bleed let alone slow down.
And the leading man has the emotional security of a drunken 13-year-old girl. And so on.

Yeah, I think Suburgatory is the best new comedy, which surprised me because I didn't have high expectations for it.

V at least redeemed intself with the final episode where humanity completely lost, and the annoying teenage character got his head bit off.
To me that gave V 2 stars out of 5
Something like that badly needs to happen in Terra Nova. But unfortunately the show is about family in the most boring, awful way.
They have the vaguely controlling father, the understanding wife whose job is to soothe his husband, the son who is a whiny bitch because of course he is, the smart Exposition Daughter and the small Symbolic Daughter.
Watching the father and wife try to find an opportunity to copulate made for such exciting television. And when they finally did (spoiler!) - behind a translucent wall with the kids on the other side presumably pretending not to see and hear everything - what a cathartic moment!
