Lynn is a great OC but not a good HC.

Lynn was an extremely poor game manager. He's not the worst head coach ever but after four years there's no way they could bring him back and hope to sell any tickets next season. I'm sad he got fired but for my own selfish reasons.

Boomer seemed to do a lot of games on the radio that I heard on Fan 960. His charity was mentioned often.

He does but radio is different, you have to talk a lot. But absolutely Kevin Harlin carries that radio team.

Big props to Alex Singleton for a wonderful season in PHI. Took advantage of injuries to solidify his place as a starting LB in the NFL. Led the team in tackles.
Boomer is terrible. If I recall the CFL thing came up because CBS showed a clip of Streveler celebrating his Grey Cup win with WPG. Nantz referred to the Grey Cup as a great trophy and Boomer quips "Not as great as the Stanley Cup".
Then when Streveler throws the bad pass Boomer remarks "you might be able to do that in the Grey Cup or the CFL but not in the NFL..". Idiot.

I was hoping the Chargers would get Dan Quinn'd into keeping Lynn after this late season run.
As the head coach he seemed to be in over his head, which I liked...but that's a pretty talented team that should do more. If the Trainer doesn't stab Herbert in the ribs, he probably starts Tyrod Taylor all year.
Teams are realizing that if you have a productive young quarterback...you better get to the Superbowl while that guys on his rookie deal. After they get that second contract, it's nearly impossible to build a good enough team around a high end elite guy to get there again. Need to wait until that guy goes Brady and starts deferring all his earnings.

Most Americans would see footage of Streveler making a play in the Grey Cup and assume he was a starting QB for a championship team when he was basically the CFL's version of Taysom Hill. He's not the ideal poster boy for CFL QB's so I can see why that may lead to a comment like that. I'm actually surprised he actually got himself into game action as far more accomplished CFL QB's never had the opportunity to throw a pass in a regular season NFL game.

Norm!

That game showed why Streveler just isn't a throwing QB. He constantly threw into double coverage, and he wasn't super accurate on the short stuff either struggling to hit receivers in stride.
He's a run option QB, not a pro style QB, and no team is going to change their offense for him.

Elway has been fired upwards it sounds like. Hiring a GM who will have final say on draft, FA, roster. Hopefully they don’t blow the draft but that’s stupid if the GM doesn’t have say on coach. Classic elway. Now for Fangio to accept a demotion to DC...

And Josh Jacobs was so excited about beating Denver that he went and got in a single car accident and got himself a DUI. Will be starting next season suspended I’m sure.

I'm surprised Tampa is only a 7 point favorite in that game.
At this point I'm enticed to take the Favorite in all of these. I think the only two games that won't be blowouts are the Seahawks and Rams and the Titans vs Ravens. In the Hawks and Rams I like the under, and in the Titans and Ravens I would take the over. Likely going with the over in the Bills and Colts since Buffalo likely accounts for 35 on their own.

I don't think the Browns keep it that close, especially if Ward is out again.

Wouldn't it be ironic, after this crazy chaotic season, if Tom won another ring?

Has there ever been a playoff weekend with such a quality discrepancy between the two conferences? All of the NFC games look like poo on paper and all of the AFC games look quality on paper. Only Rams-Seahawks looks like it could be decent for the NFC, and even then we need Goff to not Goff (assuming he even plays) in order for it to be a close game.
