Kyrou + Parayko + 1st, should be just for Tkachuk alone. People seem to keep forgetting, St Louis isn't the only place he said he would go.

If we are trading Hanafin, I'd trade him seperately and more for him later. It's a top pairing guy making less than $5M. That alone is worth more than pkging him and Tkachuk for the above return. Especially if he can be a TDL flip.

He played 80 games last year, 64/71 in 19/20. He had a back injury that had him miss 24 games in 20-21 but was back for the playoffs. 2015-2018/19 he was basically full seasons minus a game or 2

But it has to include Hanowski to make sense

Interesting. On the "inaccurate list" from The Athletic, Dallas was mentioned as a potential destination for Tkachuk.

latest Francis article on the Tkachuk situation:

https://twitter.com/user/status/1550540670376415233

He suggests that if the Flames can get Kyrou from the Blues, management may try for a retool.

By “solid” prospect, I hope they mean “top or premium” prospect.

Dallas would be a lousy team to deal with IMO

What's the modern day equivalent of Hagman, Stajan, Myers, and White? Sutter is in charge of the trade right?

This.
NJ and STL are FAR FAR better suitors for Tkachuk from the Flames perspective.

They certainly have the least appealing prospects/futures, and the least exciting 'win now' players

This is good. The more it leaks out that different teams are ones to watch in the Tkachuk trade then the more teams will up their offer. Let's go get it done before the weekend Treliving!

People will probably jump on me for saying so, but that deal would be a huge win for Calgary. Not sure why Dallas would do that at all.

Why?
Kyrou is certainly not far better than Hintz or Robertson
Bolduc/Neighbours certainly are not better than Johnston/Bourque/Stankoven
