Israel declares war on Hamas

I came across this video today that I thought was interesting. I am not that familiar with the podcast and the hosts but I know they are somewhat controversial in SOME circles.

In any event, the main women on the clip did an excellent job of conveying some legit concerns that have come up with the bombings going on in Gaza.

I think this thing is going to go officially sideways and the US is trying hard to navigate the waters here without pissing off an ally.

Some people may not agree, but the government in charge in Israel right now is very comfortable with letting people in Gaza starve and die in mass numbers. I would argue an uncomfortable level of people in Israel may also be as well if polled quietly. These types of feelings and emotions are common in times of conflict all over the world.

The concern I have is the level of integration that the west has with Israel and how their fight becomes our fight and it has serious ramifications for everybody here.

This rooting out of Hamas needs to happen and it needs to happen quickly, a governing body for Gaza needs to be established by the powers at be in the west and the Palestinian's need to be given their state and Israel needs to be given their security.

All this death and destruction and suffering for no reason at all other than the world can't figure it out is nonsense. Everybody is and will be paying the price.

The IDF and Shin Bet have apparently found Hama's main headquarters bunker in Gaza and they claim is is located under the Shifa hospital in Gaza city with the hospitals 4000 staff/patients being used as human shields. They are sharing intelligence they've collected with international allies.

This would line up with their MO of hiding rocket launches at schools and hospitals. Israeli's are probably just waiting for verification from international groups now before striking. Hopefully Israelis wait, verify info, let the civilians evacuate before moving it

I will wait for verification. This seems too far fetched to be true.

However, if true, there are a lot of aid and humanitarian agencies who have a lot to answer for. The idea that none of them would notice a large military headquarters being built and used underneath a medical facility they regularly use is absurd. How is this not tantamount to these organizations committing war crimes.

Considering their maze of tunnels is kilometres and kilometres long and very intricate how would they know if the entrance is 100 m away in a building two blocks over? I’m not saying this is true and definitely needs verification but it wouldn’t surprise me. It’s been talked about for years. It’s not like they need to actually access it through the hospital.

Its not like locals have been eager to tell anyone about the locations of rockets being fired right on top of hospitals, schools, or supermarkets either. And a lot of the tunnel entrances are literally hidden inside civilian homes.

I stand by everything I said here, really could care less about what you or the virtue signallers with no family or friends involved think. Israel will do what it needs to protect itself from the Islamist regime in Iran and the Islamist terror groups that circle them in the region.
