I think there have probably been lots of games this year where the opposing fan base goes "Who the hell are these guys?"
Depth has come up big this year.

Why? That ball park is quite frankly one of the nicest in the majors.
I mean, I guess if you're an out of state fan it'd suck but in Colorado? I'm envious

Well they haven't won a playoff game since 2009. Have been under .500 for 13 of the past 15 years. Have literally never won the NL West. And are on pace for one of the 10 worst MLB seasons of all time this year.
But sure the stadium is nice I guess.

I guess a one night outing to ball game would be nice. That said it's hard to be envious of a team that can't compete season after season.

45-6 so far in this series, that's helpful for run differential

MLB record 63 hits in a 3 game series.
Gonna need a Jays in 60 to see all the action in this one.

not gonna lie, going in wasn't crazy about the guy with the career 65 OPS+ batting 6th, but that was survivable today

They were 25 for 50 on Monday with 3 walks and 24 for 49 today with 4 walks. Overall as a team they posted a .453/.480/.844 slash line. Team OPS of 1.324 in the series.
Rockies looked a lot more like the 10-50 team than the imposter who went 21-31 after that.

Can’t ask for much more, even against a terrible team.
Pitching, as importantly as teeing off on Rockies pitching, was solid, with Lauer Gausman and Berios solid, and the bullpen not mailing it in even with huge leads.
3 wins are 3 wins. Gets some players going and figuring some things out.
LA and the Cubs next so will be a good test to keep the positivity going.

After a boost from the Rockies 500 the rest of the way now gets them to 91 wins. I would have been more confident 91 was enough for the division before the Red Sox got hot, and it still might be. But 91 hasn't won the AL east in at least 10 years (which is how far back I checked) but it always would have been good for one of the wild card spots (with the current 3 spots). AL and especially the East is definitley weaker this year. Hopefully they can make a run and that Red Sox series the last week isn't meaningful because they're too far ahead.

Jays up 4 games in the division now and up 2 in the AL.

The Jays pitching was awesome this series. 5 earned runs given up by the starters and the bullpen didn’t allow a run with only 3 hits.
The altitude is a major reason for the Rockies struggles though. No quality free agent pitcher will ever sign there.
